“Why don’t you just make your own sunglasses?” Thom LaRussa’s thirteen year old son asked abruptly. Unable to think of a reply, Thom set out to design and manufacture his ideal sunglasses. After three grueling years of research & development, Nuclear Optics Eyewear was born.

Nuclear Optics Eyewear has been designed specifically to maximize comfort without sacrificing style and performance. The materials that Thom’s sunglasses are made of are remarkable: Xcrystal Core™ lenses provide ultraviolet protection and perfect clarity while Trentonium™ thermal polyamide creates lightweight, easy to wear frames. Nuclear Optics Eyewear has also incorporated cushions and area displacement along the sides of the glasses to prevent headaches and increase the quality of the fit.

Thom LaRussa is now ready to share Nuclear Optics Eyewear with the world, but he needs your help. Thom has created a Fundable goal of $18,000 in order to ramp up production, re-tool and launch the Nuclear Optics Eyewear website, and market his product. Check out Thom’s unique designs and pledge to his campaign here.
