GiggedIn is the first to market in the Asia Pacific (APAC) Region with a subscription service dedicated to live entertainment. Our members get unlimited access to events from a curated list of up to 100 quality events every month. We make it easy and affordable for members to explore the best concerts, theater, and experiences in their city.

Customers, especially millennials, love to attend live events. However, it can be very difficult for them to find the best live entertainment every week. Customers have to sign up for mailing lists and search the web to find out what’s going on in town. It can make deciding what to do feel like a research project.

In addition to the effort involved with researching live entertainment, there’s also the cost associated with attending events. Buying tickets to individual events every week is too costly for many people, especially millennials on limited budgets.

At the same time, nine out of 10 events in the live entertainment industry do not sell out, and approximately 50% of event tickets remain unsold. This means the majority of shows have excess capacity with event organizers, venues, and artists desperate for more attendees.

At GiggedIn, we love helping people discover new music and experiences each week. We think there’s nothing more enriching than attending a live event, whether it’s music, cinema, comedy, or some other type of shared experience. With this belief, we’re on a mission to make it easier for people to experience and discover new live entertainment each week.

Our founder came up with the concept for GiggedIn during his college days. He was frustrated that he couldn't afford to buy tickets to all of the shows he wanted to attend. He also found it difficult to find the best things to do each week. These two problems raised a question: How can we make it easier and more affordable for people to go out to experience more concerts and events in their cities?

Events range from concerts headlined by international and local acts across all genres of music to theater, comedy, and many other live experiences. Best of all, GiggedIn gives customers unlimited access to all of these incredible events starting at only $35 a month.

Our team works with the industry’s top artists, event organizers, and venues to feature the best experiences for our members. We’re all about making it easier and more affordable for folks to experience great shows and live events. We also exist to support creative culture and its creators by filling up events with new, life-loving members.

The way GiggedIn works is simple. We are able to offer our incredible membership service because there are unsold tickets and excess capacity at most events. Our team secures free or discounted ticket allocations from event organizers, which then enables us to pass these savings on to our customers. It’s a win-win situation for everyone involved.

We make it easy to become a member of GiggedIn – and we make it even easier to use our service. Customers sign up to start accessing unlimited concerts and experiences. We offer a free 21 day browsing period to view all available events, with paid membership commencing  earlier only when a customer RSVP’s to an event for the first time.

GiggedIn launched in 2013 as a crowdfunding platform for music events; however, we pivoted in 2014 to a crowdsourcing model. During this time, our team ran marketing campaigns for tours, and one tour we worked with generated 30,000 votes and registered emails in our database. In 2015, we began to monetize crowdsourcing models from brands, and we came very close to selling a campaign to a brand for $1 million.

Last year, we pivoted again by leveraging industry and brand relationships to launch the subscription service you see today. GiggedIn has given customers access to 1,000+ events so far, and the Company went from zero revenue to six figures after one year. However, that’s not all we’ve accomplished.

We built all of the technology and source code for GiggedIn in-house, and we now have a completed product that’s on the market. We work with the largest and most respected promoters, ticketing agents, and venues in Australia. Our team has consistently secured high profile events and artists.

As mentioned above, our revenue has grown from zero to six figures in just one year. We achieved this growth by signing up 400 active users.

Artesian Venture Partners, Black Sheep Capital, and Creative Enterprise Australia are a few of Australia’s most respected early stage venture capitalists – and they are current investors in GiggedIn.

We have secured brand partnerships with a leading national fast food chain, a global audio equipment brand, and our team is working with one of the major record labels  and market leading youth media outlets to offer GiggedIn to even more brands. We are also in partnership discussions with one of worlds largest FMCG brands  and other large corporations.

Our inventory comes from event organizers, and we have strong relationships with the largest promoters in Australia and access to all other event organizers in the country.

GiggedIn has been repeatedly labeled by the largest media outlets in Australia as “the Netflix of Live Entertainment.” GiggedIn is said to represent the future of how people will access live events, and it has been called one of the most promising tech/entertainment startups to come out of the region.

The team at GiggedIn has several new – and exciting – developments in the pipeline.

  • In June 2017, we will launch a $14.99 plan that is targeted for mass market adoption. Launching this plan is in response to customer feedback, and it will capture a significant number of casual event goers.
  • In August 2017, we will introduce three, six, and twelve month plans.
  • In the second half of 2017, we will introduce a mobile app and a higher priced Premium Plan. While the mobile app will offer a robust user experience for members on-the-go, the $59 Premium Plan will target an older demographic by offering more premium events.
