Glass Handbag was founded in 2010 after the initial designs were executed and the patent filed.  The company sets to offer fashion plus function with an integrated light panel system in every handbag, created to be inexpensive and easy to operate using common AAA batteries.  Our first production of luxury leather handbags are ready to market to a greater audience.

"I have always been frustated with handbags.  For a long time I didn't even carry one because I could never find anything inside of it.  After a particularly trying day of rummaging, I had an epiphany - I am going to make a handbag with a built-in light.  After learning people have tried to put a light in handbags since the 1950's, I was still determined to find a way.  I researched and finally found something that hadn't been done and was perfect for the purpose.  After 1 year of research and pending approval, our patent finally came to fruition earlier this year.  The first production of our bags is complete, and now we want to get the word out there!!!"

As with any new and revolutionary product, there is always an initial hurdle to overcome in educating customers on a product's availability and functionality.  We are trying to overcome this challenge and change the market's perception of a typical handbag.  This Fundraise will help us achieve that goal by giving us a platform to showcase our handbag lines to customers worldwide.
