I agree that the ad is not hitting the right points to get the appropriate attention on the Hill. It'll get attention, but it could be better. It needs focus. To the extent it suggests exclusivity, it will not be effective. The group is resistant to suggestions for fear that inclusivity reduces attention to their plight when in reality, the opposite is the case.
