Afraid to leave and making a plan

I do not like saying I am abused, but for the last 2 years my husband has beat me any time he gets mad. The only time I called the police they let him come home in 3 days. He took all my clothes and put them in his trucck and for 2 weeks I wore a tank top and underware. He took my makeup, wedding ring and family photos
He knows I would not leave without them, but they are not worth my life.

I am only allowed to leave the house to take the children to school. Right now I am at the library shaking as I type this. I saw a Tv show talking about how to make a plan to leave and today I am trying to do that.
I have talked to the director of the shelter and they will take me in 2 weeks and will give me clothes, but I am so scared that he will find me in this town.
I have a family who moved states and he does not know where she is so if I can just get there I think I will be ok to file and get the restraining order. She is willing to give me money through this site to help me.
I am afraid to ask any friends for help or it could get back to him.
all my "friends" are mainly the wives and girlfriends of his work buddys.
I need money for 3 bus tickets, for me and my kids, and a few dollars for food along the way.

If anyone can help me with this I will send you a letter once I am safe. If anyone knows of a place that might help me get out of town please let me know.

I am asking that fundable send any money that I get here to the shelter because I can not use his bank accounts.
If anyone feels better about sending it there aswell please let me know.

I am afraid for my life, I just want out!!
