My name is Gabrielle and I am a graduate student in Public Health. I am doing an unpaid internship with UNAIDS this summer in Dakar, Senegal. Specifically, I will be working with a team whose mission is to help provide the people of West and Central Africa better access to HIV prevention services and AIDS treatment, care and support than is currently available.

I have been on the journey of helping the people in different areas of sub-Saharan Africa to get better treatment and access to HIV/AIDS care for seven years now. It is my intention to continue this journey in my career. As a graduate student, taking on an unpaid internship is difficult and I need to raise the funds in order to go. I greatly appreciate your consideration to help support me in my journey.
