I am collecting the money to purchase Damaged, who is the author of iScrobbler, an iPod touch so that he can improve iScrobbler to properly support scrobbling tracks from an iPhone or iPod touch.

I ask Damaged about getting the money to him directly, but he didn't want me to do that since he didn't want people to think that he was using the money for anything other than the iPod touch. Therefore, I have set up this fundable collection to deposit the money in my PayPal account (I didn't see another way to do it). If we raise enough money, I will buy Damaged a 16GB iPod touch from Amazon.com and have it sent directly to him. I have 5 days to change our goal -- if it isn't looking good in a couple of days, I will lower the goal to the amount needed for a 8GB touch.

By the way, the goal I have set is enough to get the 8GB touch ($349) plus the 7% fee charged by fundable plus what I estimate shipping will cost.
