Our vision is to help animals, the “less adoptable” pets, have a second chance at life. Hence, we get a lot of last resort calls that usually require special care and/or medical expenses. Now, about Precious: Last week, we received a call from a vet at the Surgical Specialists of NM, asking us to help an injured dog. A 10 month old puppy had been hit by a car and the owners never reclaimed her. Because the dog was so sweet, they named her Precious, and bought as much time for her at the hospital as they could – Due to her severe injuries, they knew that if they took her to animal control she would be euthanized. She ran out of time, so, knowing they we have a really hard time saying “no”, they called us.
Precious required some extensive surgery estimated at $6,000. The vet did give us a really great discount and we financed the balance of her surgery at $3K +. So, Precious has been saved, we financed her surgery, and she is healing – we owe $3,000 to Care Credit for this surgery.

We additionally have extraordinary vet bills on other dogs we could not say no to. We’re just not very good at the whole fund-raising thing. This is our first crack at this, so we humbly ask for your support to drive to a minimum goal of $3000 which will all go towards Precious’ vet bill.
