Internship Promoting Human Rights in the Balkans

This summer I am doing an unpaid 12-week internship at the European Training Centre for Human Rights in Graz, Austria, focusing on security issues in the Western Balkans, and the region's transition to democracy. I am a Master of Public Policy candidate at UC Berkeley's Goldman School of Public Policy, and a policy-related internship is required for my degree. I chose this internship because I have a work background promoting human rights in Eastern Europe, and in particular the Balkans are a fascinating case study in post-Communist societal transition. My school is providing some funding, and my friends and relatives some other funding, but I am left with about $1500 not yet covered. I'm asking the good visitors to this webpage to help me out by paying my dorm room rent for one month in Graz (about 250 Euro).
