Struggling family of 7 in need of a reliable van

Hello there. Here is our situation, our van is on it's last leg with transmission problems. My wife is disabled and cannot work, I work but my pay is barely paying the bills and sometimes not even that. We have been behind in our bills since the start of the last winter season and have not been able to save the money we need for a down payment. That is what we are asking for help with. We were approved at 1 car dealership after being turned down by all the rest. The problem is they need $1500.00 down to sell us a vehicle as our credit is not good and we do not have a co-signer. The dealership will give us $500.00 as a trade for our van so we need to come up with the rest. My wife and I have 5 wonderful kids ages 7,6,3,2, and 5 mos. They are the reason we are in dire need of another van. We had the van looked at and the cost to fix it would far exceed the cost of getting another one and the automotive shops will not let you make payments. We need help! Any help would be a blessing for us and would mean more than words could ever express! Please find it your hearts to help my family.
