Film School Funds

Greetings all, my name is Nick Cozzetto and I’m attempting to scrape together greatly needed monetary backing for the Vancouver Film School in lovely and beautiful British Columbia. I hope for this to be the beginning of a lifelong desire coming to fruition: working in the world of cinema that I fell in love with at the age of six. It ranks among the positively minimal number of things I believe to impossible to describe what film means to me, and I hope that, like our good King Lear, my failure to accurately lay out the finer points of my passion for this medium of art doesn’t work against me. Suffice it to say, for someone who believes he can humbly boast of an imagination that’s far too hyperactive for a man his age, the world of movies has always been an otherworldly haven for me where I could create any story or character I could possibly conjure up.

The program I’ve set my sights on is a one year intensive at one of the most well-regarded and celebrated film schools in North America, which covers every conceivable aspect of film production, ideal for someone who genuinely desires to be a total renaissance man in the industry. Somewhere down the road my loftiest of dreams is to own my own production company/studio that encourages originality and creativity for its writers and directors, but until that happens I truly want to do everything imaginable behind and in front of a camera.

If any of my fellow cinephiles happen up on this, I beseech your assistance in getting one of your comrades to reach his deepest hopes in the celluloid universe. If any of my Christian brothers and sisters happen upon this, I ask gratefully for your donations to help a fellow spiritual soldier make strides in fulfilling the calling The Man in Charge has inscribed in his heart (your prayers, by the way, are even more valuable to me than anything you donate). If anyone who doesn’t fit into either of those camps happens upon this, then I’ll gratefully and humbly accept anything you may feel compelled to offer. La cinema e vita. Cheers!

Oh, and I feel it's important to add in that you may see this striving goal repeatedly in the months to come (the total sum I'll need is quite impressive). But you have my most foresworn oath that every cent raised here is going towards tuition and living expenses, I'm not embezzling or swindling anybody.
