Elwell Breast Cancer Recovery Fund

In February of this year my wife Bonnie was diagnosed with an aggressive type breast cancer. Surgery was immeiately recommended for a complete radical mastectomy. I'm grateful to report that the surgery which was performed on May 7th went well. The surgeon however did advise us that the cancer had in fact spread to her lympth nodes and as many as 12+ nodes had to be removed. Chemotherapy is the next recommended part of treatment. Going through the cancer part is hard enough but in our case it is also a great financial burden. In addition to further diagnosis, treatments, medical bills and transportation, we have also lost 1/2 of our normal income. Already we have had no choice to file bankruptcy in an effort only to keep our 1st home. Although bankruptcy will help, we are still about $800 per month short in meeting our daily living expenses which include heat, groceries, transportation etc. It appears it may be up to 6-9 months befor my wife can re-join the work force in some capacity to once again assist as partial breadwinner. We implore you to open your hearts and donate what little yu can to help us through these next several months.
