Owner died...sweet Heeler needs HW treatment

Heartworm treatment needed ASAP

Sadly, Lucky's name is not appropriate for the situation she is in. After her owner's death, she was surrendered by family members. After a 3-day journey to enter a rescue in hopes of finding a loving home, she was diagnosed with an advanced stage of heartworm infestation. She needs treatment ASAP.

As she is in an advanced stage, additional tests such as x-rays and lab are necessary to ensure that the treatment is dosed appropriately to avoid a large mass of dead worms clogging her heart and resulting in her death.

Please help us raise the funds needed so that Lucky can be treated and be placed in a forever home in good health.
