PLEASE HELP ME RAISE MONEY FOR MY PUPPY'S HIP SURGERY
100% of the Money Will Pay for Daisy's Total Hip Replacement Surgery

In August of 2005, My husband and I were given an Olde English Bulldogge puppy. She was 8 weeks old and very small and precious. We had two other dogs at the time but this puppy needed a good home. All was well for the first few months of Daisy's life until she developed Cherry Eye. In order to protect her eyesight she had to receive surgery for this condition. Shortly after this expensive surgery, Daisy started limping. The limping continued and we brought Daisy back to the vet. An X-ray confirmed our suspicions-Daisy had progressed hip dysplasia. She was only 9 months old! We were told that eventually she would need surgery for this condition. A few months later Daisy needed to get a cast on her back leg because her knee was bothering her. We spent the next year and a half noticing that Daisy wasn't bothered by her hips so we were hoping that they might have gotten better somehow. Well, in December of 2007, we noticed that Daisy stopped wanting to walk. Instead, she would drag her hips across the floor to get to where she needed to go. This has been extremely hard on my husband and myself because at that time we were expecting our first child. This past February, I gave birth to a healthy baby boy. There is no way now that we can afford the $2,500 per hip for the FHO surgery. I really cannot fathom putting my 2 year old dog down because I cannot afford her care. Thats when I decided to turn to Fundable to help raise money for Daisy. Please find it in your heart to help my poor Bulldogge. She and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

I am really hoping to have the money for this surgery by July 31, 2008.

I can relate, we also have spent Thousands of dollars on our 1 1/2 year old English Bulldog, Annie. Our last visit with the vet I told him we could loose our house if the expenses keep up. I will check back on your funds in a couple weeks.....we wish you the best.

Daisy is in our prayers

When I saw your auction on ebay to help with Daisy's vet expenses it broke my heart. I know how expensive vet costs and surgery can be (I also have a disabled puppy). The costs add up so quickly and I'm so glad to be able to help you and Daisy. I think it's so wonderful that you are trying so hard to help Daisy and to make sure she isn't put to sleep. I wish you the best, and know that Daisy is in our thoughts and prayers.

I think you should lower your amount so that you do not loose what you have worked so hard to make. Or let this run out and let the same people know that you are trying again. You can do it! It is not easy...but you can! You may want to include vet info and give people the option of donating directly to the medical facility. I had to do this twice...but I did make it...You can do it too! Your sweet dog is counting on you to find a way! Good luck
