Every year millions of people are diagnosed with chronic pain. Millions of people are added to the list of millions of individuals who were robbed of a productive life, are no longer able to afford health care, are misdiagnosed and mistreated a thousand times, watch their careers and everything they worked for disappearing, their families falling apart, falling in financial bankruptcy, getting addicted to drugs, living depressed and often ending their lives without even knowing what "hit" them.

Chronic Pain is a humanitarian crisis of epidemic proportions. The medical establishment so far failed millions of individuals, their families and loved ones. Society is deprived of talent, the next Einstein, the next great humanitarian, great father, mother, teacher, mayor, artist, etc, etc. Insurance policies are often discriminatory and do not cover enough to treat chronic pain.

The workplace has no pace for individuals in chronic pain although most injuries happen at the workplace.

Chronic pain is the invisible handicap of the 21st century's modern society.

But what if people were educated enough to know what is pain at least? Wouldn't that be the first step to treatment?

The series will be made available on-line for individuals having mobility issues. Also the series will be made available to community centers and libraries as well as broadcast on TV. I believe education is always the first step to accomplishing solutions.
