I have organized a new and exciting youth basketball program that will take place this summer. The program is called the LEHIGH VALLEY STARZ SUMMER LEAGUE. It is a showcase of the area’s best young players and future basketball stars that will soon be playing for our local high school and college teams. This league is for the area’s best boys and girls players. Teams competing against each other will include the area’s best Middle School, Freshman and Travel Teams. This event will run from late June through late August. The event will have regular updates in the Morning Call and other area news outlets.

I would like to invite your business to be a part of this youth sporting showcase. This is the only organized event of this size for our elite players in the Lehigh Valley. All games are played outdoors at Church Lane Park in Trexlertown, which allows for a variety of corporate sponsorships.

An event of this size has many costs to ensure a great experience for our players, coaches and spectators. This will be a non-profit event where all league organizers are volunteers and will not receive a salary. All teams pay and entrance fee, but unfortunately those fees do not cover all expenses, such as referee fees, insurance and awards. At season’s end, referee fees total more than $8,000.

The games will be seen by roughly 500 spectators per week. The league website will have more than 2,000 hits and has the ability to list sponsors. The league will be featured in stories and advertisements in many local media outlets including The Morning Call and Press newspapers as well as Service Electric TV2 and RCN Classified commercials which run for 30 seconds once every hour. These outlets could reach in excess of 200,000 people.

This is where we need your help to make this exciting event a success. We have many sponsorship and advertising opportunities to promote your business and in turn help cover our expenses. Sponsorships start with as little as $100. The more you pledge the more exposure for your business. Attached is a list of sponsorship packages.
