GeekPAC - a Political Action Committee

GeekPAC will be a Political Action Committee dedicated to finding candidates for US Congress who share our beliefs in copyright reform, net neutrality, DMCA reform, and other information rights issues. To get a sense of our mission, see our position paper and our mission statement.

We are currently transitioning our URL from bytesfree.org to geekpac.org. We need $2,000 in startup capital to engage with a law firm to file paperwork with the Federal Elections Commission. The rest of the money will be spent to start sourcing candidates and reaching out to them.
