What: Help 50 very poor families heat their homes this winter

Who: Native American families from the Lakota tribe in South Dakota

Why: These families cannot afford to heat their home. While the spirit and heart of the Lakota people and their traditions are rich, the community is monetarily poor. In fact, it is the second poorest county in the U.S. The unemployment rate is between 70-80% and the average household income is $1500-$5000 per year. Imagine trying to live on $1500 per year.

How Much: Whatever you can give: $10? $20? - Every $100 we raise helps a family heat their home for a month.
