Help Raise Funds For Emma's Health Care

Together you have brought us to goal!!!!

I am amazed.... but oddly enough - not surprised!!!

The outpouring of love and support for this one tiny girl has been more than I could ever have hoped for just a few months ago!! Yet having experienced it first hand... I just knew.... that SOMEHOW..... SOME WAY.....

WE'D MAKE IT!!!!!!

Emma's fundraiser raffle will continue on throughout the next week in hopes that we will rise above and beyond with a continuation of the awesome support that Emma has received!

Join me in a tremendous sigh of RELIEF in knowing that TOGETHER.... the life of one little wonder - has been dramatically changed!!!

That being said..... it is our PROMISE.... that we will do ALL that we know how to do.... to assure that Emma's life.... plays a part in IMPROVING THE LIVES OF OTHERS!!!

We have several projects currently in the works - to which any excess funds will be applied.

~ Emma's Christmas Paws Baskets ~ Providing gifts, toys & treats to 25 extraordinary special needs pets & their devoted caregivers this Christmas!

~ The Spirit Of Home ~ Providing cards and care packages to some of our dedicated military troops overseas!

We are also working with The Mascot Factory to have life sized Emma plushies created(ha! how big could that possibly be??) so that we will be able to leave them with the children suffering with cleft palate / facial deformities when we make our visits to the craniofacial clinics!!

Once Emma has recovered from her surgeries, we will begin Pet Therapy Training for certification.

So let's use the next week to continue sharing Emma's story and keep those pledges rolling in!!!

How Emma Came To Be...

We have rescued a beautiful newborn orphan Chihuahua puppy born with severe facial deformities.

Emma needs your help!!

Sweet baby Emma came to us when she was 20 hours old.

She was born with a cleft palate, cleft lip and severe facial deformities...

Her owners just didn't know how to care for her, so they placed an ad on craigslist.com to find someone who would be willing to take her in.

Emma was unable to nurse from her mama due to her deformities - so she needed (and still needs) 24 hour 'round the clock care in order to survive.

Emma is fed with a tube that goes into her mouth and down into her tummy.... this lets us give her all the nutrients that she needs to thrive and grow into a strong healthy girl!

The birth defects keep Emma from being able to take in nutrients and breathe properly... so without the tube feeding, she would not be able to live.

Emma has been in surgery 4 times already! All within her first 7 days of life! Unfortunately our efforts were all in vain - and the surgical repairs were not enough to repair the defects of Emma's palate and lip.

She truly is a miracle girl.... a fighter like I've never seen!!

Emma's first and second fundraising attempts were both successful and we hope to be able to say the same about this, her third and final fundraising raffle!!!

Emma has a long road ahead with further surgery and lots of growing to do, but in the healing hand of God - I'm certain that this little baby will amaze us all!!!

We have been so blessed in that we have found a local veterinary hospital who is willing to donate part of Emma's treatment and surgery expenses!!

But we still need your help!!

Between the local news coverage... the possibility of a children's book in Emma's future... her plans of doing some "Meet & Greet" visits in clinic with children dealing with cleft palate / craniofacial deformities.... and our ultimate goal of Emma becoming a recognized pet therapy pup within reach - - - I feel as though we are beginning to realize the plan that God had laid out for Emma from the moment of her conception...
