As many people have posted on Slashdot, i think a better mock-up of the add would result in more support. Why donate to a cause that will have little or no impact. I have to say, the add as it currently stands, is going to spend more time face down on the table or as a place mat than it will stirring up interest. It doesn't even have the OOo logo on it!? I understand that when it comes to newspaper adds, simple is better, but why not follow the car add template and have a big bold into, followed by more information for those who are interested. Anyone with minimal photoshop experience could make a more attractive, functional,and informative ad. If it were put to a contest or something, and official rules and specifications were posted, i think this could be a huge success. This is open source people, lets make it an open contest.
