This is for the premium annual browsercam subscription for 25 users. Covers 12 months of recurring unlimited access, priority screen capture and remote access queues, a higher number of users, 60-minute Remote Access sessions, a higher number of Full Page Captures, and more. This cost is a bit higher than the normal $500 subscriptions but gets you more than those packages. For full details, visit: http://www.browsercam.com/Pricing.aspx
Cost is $40 per person, and equals out to about $3.33 per month, which is quite a steal!

Cameron Moll Approves This Package

Here's a quote from Cameron Moll (www.cameronmoll.com) regarding this Premium package:
"Holy Hanna, I just used BrowserCam’s Remote Access service to test a client’s site in Windows, and it’s just too good. Log in and use the machine remotely just like Virtual PC (but faster access), and avoid the capture-wait-see-fix-recapture-wait mess."
This sure beats the hassles associated with setting up every possible operating system and browser, and having to maintain those systems. Less is more. Simplicity is beauty!

Awesome! The Premium Account is where it's at!

Cool! I'm in on this. The premium account will be super-handy for testing not only layout and visual components of web pages, but behavioural components, too (like JavaScipt/AJAX, CSS rollovers)! And for $40.00/year, you can't go wrong!
Need about 17 more people

We're getting closer, but we need about 17 more people to close this up and get a great deal on the best package for the browser cam premium annual subscription. If we don't make it, I will attempt to get an extension since people are showing interest in this subscription package. And it seems no one else is raising a fund for the smaller package, and why should they? This one is so much better!
Hey look. What do you have to loose? ;D

I've just finished using the 24hour free trial and I have to say that this is an amazing service for web developers. My CSS was malfunctioning in quite a few browsers and I would have never even known. Sign up, this is an excellent service and you won't regret it!

This is getting exciting :-)
- how come it says 3 more days when the deadline is tomorrow?
- if there are only a few accounts left, is it possible to lengthen the action or would the other participants be interested in shelling out a few dollars extra to close the gap?
-note: reactions are next to invisible on the site, which is why I double posted, sorry-

This morning I sent a request to get the fundable extended just in case, since this is the first successful (so far!) fundable for the more advanced browsercam account type. As of Friday @ 9:30 we need just 3 more signups. I'm thinking this should come through tomorrow. I was going to pick up the slack if they couldn't extend the fundable, but they were nice enough to do so:
"I extended your group for a few more days. I understand that it is a bit
difficult to remake these groups up so I'm willing to add up to a week to
get it all together. If you need any more time or have any other
questions feel free to contact me again!"
Thanks Peter :)
Thanks again to all who've pitched in. This is going to be great!

Looks like all pledges have been made, however I haven't gotten a notice yet. So once the guys at Fundable get me the information, I will get everyone's account information out to them. Thanks for your patience!

Hey Scott,
Thanks for realizing the situation. Yes, at the time right now I am
trying to get one of the pledges working, but it seems that it's
being stubborn. I'm going to try to contact them and see if I can get
through to them that way. If I cannot get them figured out in a day I
will talk to Browsercam and get it figured out directly. Anyway, be
patient for just a few more days. I apologize for the inconvience. If
you have any further questions feel free to contact me...again. : )
Sincerely,
Peter Helm

Hey Guys,
I honestly didn't imagine it taking this long for Fundable to finalize this group purchase. I'm sure you're all getting pretty anxious to get your accounts set up, and I am anxious myself. Apparently Peter is still trying to resolve a payment, and until then things remain in limbo. I will continue to keep everyone posted on this, and I thank you for your patience!
Warm Regards,
Scott

Hey Guys,
I covered for the deadbeat who didn't pay. If anyone missed the opportunity to hop on board with us for this Premium Annual Subscription to Browsercam, let me know and I'll let you take the spot (for the same cost, $40). For everyone else, I should be getting the account info within a few days, although I could have really used it today...
So hang in there, it's coming!

I'm waiting on one last email from Fundable with the information for the accounts. Hopefully I will get this email tomorrow, and if so I will set up everyone's accounts right away. Who knew it'd take this long? Whew! Also, to avoid delays next year when it comes time to renew, maybe you can all simply send me PayPal payments so we don't have to go through this again.
Thanks for all your patience!

I don't think it is fair to take this out on Scott who:
- is probably just as anxious as us to get his hands on the Browsercam accounts
- has put a lot more effort into it than he would have expected
I won't push it by saying no news is good news :-), but at least we have been getting _some_ news.
And all I can do now is crawl back into my cave and continue praying nobody contributed enough for Scott to buy himself an island in the South Pacific ;-)

Asking why this is taking far too long is not taking it out on Scott, it's me communicating my concern. if the money's been received by fundable and it's just a matter of e-mailing scott with our details then it shouldn't take 6 days, which is how long it's been since we got an update as to what the hold-up is. I've just been wanting to start using browsercam, as I'm sure we all have.
Browsercam Addresses the Problem

I sent e-mail to browsercam asking them to investigate why we've been waiting so long to get our accounts set up. According to browsercam (see their e-mail, below) the delay is due to Scott not getting in touch with them to claim the premium account and set us up on it. I've just sent e-mail to Scott letting him know what to do. Hopefully he'll get in touch with browsercam ASAP...

Hello Bob -
Although the group has been completed, the group administrator did not
establish contact with us to begin the account's setup procedures. We have
sent him multiple emails but he has not sent us any replies. This has
created a lengthy delay with the account's setup process.
After the funds were received, we discovered that the group administrator
already had a trial subscription set up with us, and we were able to convert
that account into a fully functioning Annual BC-Premium account. It is the
group administrator's job to set up each user on the account, but since he
has not contacted us, he does not know how to do this. He is not even aware
that the account is ready yet.
Once Scott gets in contact with us, we can provide him with the instructions
for adding the 24 other group participants to the account. We encourage you
to drop him a line letting him know this as well...we'd like to get everyone
set up as soon as possible.

I'm still waiting on that email from Fundable with everyone's account information so everyone get's their full year of service. I've sent them at least 3 emails since Monday about this and still haven't heard back. I've also mentioned this to Fundable. Maybe there's something they can do. Will continue to keep you posted. Arg, hate looking like the bad guy :(

Final Update (Fri 12:15am)

OK Group,
Here's the situation. I can't say why Fundable couldn't answer three emails since Tuesday, sad really. Browsercam sent me just one, on Tuesday, telling me to set up a temporary account, and to contact them so they can convert it into the full account and share info on how I can set up everyone's accounts. They don't have access to the email addresses, which are required to set them up. I was waiting to get the full list of email addresses from Fundable so I didn't give anyone an account wrongly (and I would have with the collection of email addresses I had, as one guy bailed on us, plus I was missing a few anyway). In any case I wanted to make sure everyone had an equal year of service. Also, the email list on this page was only showing half (eg. fundable@... ). Browsercam has set up the account (just now) so I needed those emails. Well, I didn't know this but apparently logging in gives me the full list, and whether this is poor usability, lack of documentation or just plain ignorance ;D I didn't realize this until I tried it... I now have the full list and emails, and your account information should be rolling into your inboxes soon. So my sincere apologies for this, I honestly wish I would have thought of this sooner, but I at least expected a reply from Fundable telling me this was the case back on Tuesday when I sent the first email about it. Again, my bad. Let's get this going!!
w00t,
Scott
PS, I can only dream of owning a private island, but I never see any of this money, it goes right from Fundable to Browsercam ;) ...Now to start that Fundable for the private island <grin>
