Our Partners and Our Goal

IN-abled.com reached an agreement with Logan Screen Printing in Hocking Hills, Ohio, to print and drop ship our t-shirts. We reached an agreement with Capitol Citicom Commercial Printing in Columbus, Ohio, to print and drop ship our posters, canvases, and books. We work with Bob Hatfield, designer extraordinaire, on our t-shirt and logo designs. Bob has been a professional graphic arts designer and artist for over 25 years.

IN-abled.com wants to fundraise $10,000 to help pay for the development of a fully accessible ecommerce website. The full cost of the site is $20,000. The team at IN-abled.com will match the fundraise amount on here. This truly is a collaboration between us and you! This site will allow us to sell our products with the hope of growing IN-abled.com to offer employment and services focusing on people with disabilities.

We are IN-abled.com!

The Name

We named our company IN-abled.com because we want to invite everyone to "Get IN" by celebrating abilities in themselves and others. This company is more than just seeing the individual. It's about being inspired by the reminder we can ALL overcome obstacles and challenges every day!

The Launch

We created 10 designs of what we like to call "The People IN-abled". WITH YOUR HELP we'll print them as 18x24 posters, 16x12 canvases, and a book titled "The Original 10". We've also created several t-shirt designs. Why? The triumph of the human spirit is awe inspiring. Designs of people with disabilities should be hanging on walls everywhere to celebrate diversity and success, and everyone should wear cool shirts. Right? Right!

Background

A year ago, one of my best friends, Noah (above "Focus" design), invited me to a Special Olympics sporting event for people with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities where he ran the 100M dash. I'm a photographer so I brought my camera and took tons of wonderful photos. I had a GREAT time!

On my way home, I couldn't stop thinking how inspired I was by all the participants. How happy they were just to run the race. How fearless. How focused. When I reviewed the photos, I was OVERWHELMED. I realized I had been taking my days for granted. I realized I had been letting my own obstacles and challenges get me down WAY too much, and I should be celebrating everything.

Action

Since then, Noah, Chris (Noah's dad), some wonderful friends, and I have been choosing our favorite photos and discussing how they inspire us. Our discussions helped us create the inspiring captions included on each design. Now, we want to make them REAL and inspire you through the PEOPLE IN-ABLED "The Original 10" collection. No one can stop you! You can fly! Dance! Be as tall as you want to be!

Our Team

YOU-You're a big part of our team! No matter who you are or where you're from you can help us with your expertise, your network, and your pledge. You can celebrate diversity and success with us. You can tell everyone you know to support this company start up which will help us grow and do amazing things in our world. You can share your story with us and offer the talents and abilities we know are in you. With a pledge, you can say IN-abled.com is important in the fabric of our economy and community. We invite you to Get IN!
