Knot Geek Paracord Products is not your average paracord peddler.  Inspired by the years served in the US Army, inventing many uses for Type III Nylon, Knot Geek produces patriotic, nostalgic, and quirky products for all consumers both military and non-military.  The designs and quality of product you will find here are unlike anything else currently being produced by the competition.

With a strong military feel and look, Knot Geek's products are unique, and attactive.  While we are not limited to military themed products, they are indeed the flagship of the business.  

In addition to the military appeal, Knot Geek also targets consumers currently engauged in "Cubicle Warfare" where durable and attactive lanyards and keychains are a must.

All work and no play make Jack a dull boy, so we have some fun and quirky inspired designs as well.

We have also cornered the market with some local businesses and their employees here in San Antonio, TX.  Some of the business we currently serve but now limited to are, Rackspace Hosting, Spurs Sports and Entertainment, and Direct TV.

The clientele and the product line are there and growing everyday.  What we need are the business back-end essentials to help maintain and grow the business.  We have narrored this down to the following 4 areas.

1.  A highpowered business computer such as a Mac Pro, with highend Business/Accounting software such as AccountEdge or QuickBooks.

2.  A small business consultant to help legitimize the business in the areas of Tax, Legal, and Liability.

3.  A professional web developer to help establish our web presence.

4.  A conducive work space designed to help keep the materials, and products clean and organized.

Knot Geek is our second business.  Second to a full time 9-5 that pays the bills, and second to a household of 4 children that monopolize all spare time.  For these reasons, we simply do not have the overhead required to build this foundation.  We have estimated that a funding goal of $5000 will suffice to make these four areas a reality.  We just need your help.

My name is Matt Graham.  I am a disabled Veteran of the United States Army.  I am a Happily married man of 6 years with 4 wonderful children.  I started making and selling paracord products as a way to make some extra spending cash and for lunch money while while I work full time as a Linux Systems Administrator with Rackspace Hosting here in San Antonio, TX.  I started by making the Armed Forces lanyard featured here on this profile.  The demand for these unique products really made me think about how much more I could actually do.  After some talks with my peers and my family, I decided to dive in and Knot Geek Paracord Products was born.  Knot Geek is a play on words of sorts.  Knot meaning the obvious, and Geek representing my 9-5 career in technology.  I have also prided myself on NOT being you average Geek, thus came the name "Knot Geek".  My products are inspired by things that interest me as  displayed with the Pabst Blue Ribbon themed, and Adidas Samba themed products..  The company is comprised of me alone, though I have joked with my wife and teenage son that I may have to hire and train them if business keeps growing the way it has in the past couple of months.

Knot Geek

The rewards from the secion include selections from our Signature "Knot Geek" series of products.  The designs incorporate the two primary company colors.  Olive Drab Green, and Neon Safety Green.  The obvious clash of Tactical vs. Loud demonstrates our quirky style and defines who we are as a paracord company.
