At Knowble, we have created a web application that guides and mentors entrepreneurs.  Starting a business is full of pitfalls and dead-ends that deter the small business owner from pursuing his or her dreams.  Our comprehensive application eliminates these hurdles and helps entrepreneurs get up and running or grow their existing business. 

According to a recent study, of the 57% of college students that started a business during or immediately after college, 73% didn't take entrepreneurship classes in school and 70% of those that did, say their classes were inadequate. 

Additionally, millions of Americans take the leap to self-employment and starting a business each year, some out of long-time aspirations of entrepreneurship and others based on need. Unfortunately, 50% of small businesses fail within the first year. Whatever the reasons for failure may be, existing structures are inadequate and first-time entrepreneurs are vastly under-supported.

To adequately address this gap, we have come up with a hands-on entrepreneurship program that is specifically tailored to the needs of the first-time entrepreneur - all online.

Knowble is an online web application that gives entrepreneurs a guided startup experience, on demand mentoring, access to tools and resources, and hands on step by step functionality within an all inclusive web application that is aestetically pleasing and easy to use. Imagine the Treehouse or General Assembly for building a small business. And on top of that, users can have direct access to mentors and experts.

We created Knowble out of the simple desire to be the easiest, fastest, and cheapest way for users to learn the beginning concepts of running a successful small business. With a deep socially conscious philosophy, we consider the mark of success helping someone succeed. We want to do whatever it takes to make our users successful.

Our app integrates all facets of starting a business into one online tool. Step by step features, tips and resources walk the user through starting a business.  With one on one mentoring and hands on tutorials, we use online technology to be an all inclusive guide for business owners. The application prepares actual tangible items the new business owner can take and use to build a successful small business.

For example, our app let's users study their business, establish a value proposition, determine appropriate mission statements, understand the problem and solution of their product or service, and much more! At the end of our application, users will have a beautifully outlined business plan, executive summary, competition analysis, organizational structure, tax identification worksheet, marketing plan, financial worksheets, and additional action items to get them in the right direction!

Before, during, and after a user is making his or her way through the application, Knowble offers a framework that also brings in mentors to solve specific problems and answer questions that allows the entrepreneur to continue on their goal path - which our app is helping them to track. In addition to tracking progress, our application offers curated information on the topics that entrepreneurs are having some problems with along the way. Also when an entrepreneur wants (or needs) to go deeper on a topic, an expert is available on-demand to answer questions and provide mentoring.
