In the United States, approximately 1,900 women are sexually assaulted every day. 73% of survivors know their attackers, 38% of rapists are a friend or aquantance, and it is estimated that less than 10% of these assaults are actually reported to police. In Colorado, 1 in 4 women will experience an assault in their lifetime and 1 in 17 men.

It is the goal of Rocky Mountain Self Defense to teach it's students the proven Israeli special forces self defense system of Krav Maga and provide necessary tools so that in the near future the numbers of these horrific crimes is decreased. Vanguard Krav Maga® (VKM) began development in 2009 with the purpose of designing a system that would truly be relevant to people here in the United States. This system has proven effective for people of any sex, age, and fitness level. 

Rocky Mountain Self Defense will provide numerous self defense and general fitness classes with special emphasis on Vanguard Krav Maga with special classes for women and children. The goal of the Rocky Mountain Self Defense is to teach practical self defense and fitness techniques, build confidence, and create awareness of potentially violent real life situations.

Rocky Mountain Self Defense will provide several programs for self defense and fitness success. We will also sell retail products such as branded apparel, protective gear, and supplements. RMSD will also offer full nutrition counseling and personal training. We plan to hold seminars and host corporate events as well.

Pricing will be in the form of membership. Memberships will be billed on a montly basis. We will offer unlimited classes for $99/month. A secondary membership for $59/month for fitness and kids only classes will be offered as well as personal training for $59/hr., nutrition counseling for $99/month as well as packages that include both. Charges will also be incurred for seminars and belt rank tests.

Rocky Mountain Self Defense is a mixed martial art and fitness training mobile company. We offer a range of fitness classes, private, and corporate events as well as nutrition counseling and personal training with the primary focus on Vangaurd Krav Maga. Vanguard Krav Maga® (VKM) began development in 2009 with the purpose of designing a system that would truly be relevant to people here in the United States. The developers of Vanguard Krav Maga® experienced the shortcomings of other organizations and revised the curriculum to move away from sport, theory, and tradition to provide a simple and effective system that was truly tailored to modern situations in the United States. VKM is a proven system that offers relevant and easy to learn self defense tactics to all levels as well as an intense mental and physical experience. Other fitness classes will include a kids version of krav maga and the Beach Body certified Insanity.
