APPICS solves social media’s issues by implementing a decentralized and transparent reward system and NFT marketplace that gives users control over their content, earnings, and data.

REWARD SYSTEM
How APPICS Works

The APPICS company has a reward pool with its own reward token (APX), and platform users decide how tokens get distributed. Every time a user upvotes a piece of content on the platform, the blockchain registers the vote and checks the user’s wallet balance and the amount of power the user upvoted with. The more APX a user holds, the higher their voting power and subsequently their influence over the distribution of APX from the reward pool.

Users can vote on content within 30 days. After this time, the amount of earnings from each post automatically goes directly to their wallets (65% to the content creator, 25% voters, 10% APPICS). This way, the platform is based on a fair and self-regulating reward mechanism. The earned rewards can be exchanged for any other currency.

Users can also choose whether or not they want to share their personal data with advertisers in return for APX voting power. This way, users don’t experience intrusive algorithms and ads, restoring the relationship between brands and consumers.

Additionally, APPICS includes an integrated NFT marketplace to further help artists and creatives turn their content, like art, music and dance moves, into income. We merge the brilliance of an NFT marketplace with social media to enable artists to turn their NFTs into content, display their art galleries directly inside their social profiles, and allow their audience to engage with the pieces.

Meet The Team

Tony Winchester, FOUNDER
Tony is an entrepreneur, visionary, blockchain enthusiast, cryptocurrency trader and miner, iOS developer, social media and online marketing consultant, ICO/STO advisor, investor and artist. In 2011, he entered the world of cryptocurrency and quickly became one of the blockchain pioneers in Germany. He is still actively working and consulting projects in this field with his agency CoinKitchen, while continuously growing the vision and expanding the ecosystem of APPICS.

Uma Hagenguth, CO-FOUNDER AND COO
Uma co-founded a digital marketing agency while expanding her knowledge in the crypto space. Through a mentor, she learned about cryptocurrencies in 2013 and became a top crypto-blogger in 2016. Shortly after, she decided to combine her passion for blockchain with her passion for philanthropy and together with her co-founders launch APPICS. Her mission is to empower people around the world by introducing them to the benefits of blockchain through social media.

Sandro Ieva, CO-FOUNDER AND CHIEF BRAND OFFICER
Sandro has a long history and experience in building brands especially in the blockchain industry. After gaining various experiences in different communication agencies, he built the ground for starting an established brand. Always looking for new challenges and experiences, he became a very active and successful NFT artist, helping big influencers to market digital assets. He designed the seamless UX/UI of APPICS, making it easy for anyone without prior blockchain knowledge to enter the crypto space.

Behsaad Ramez, CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Behsaad has led multi-disciplinary international tech teams and founded and launched dozens of products over the last decade. His creations - video games, apps, and blockchain applications - have reached millions of users. He applies his experience as a CTO and his passion to cutting edge tech at Appics to support their platform’s global adoption and expansion into Metaverse.

Felix Sander, CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER
Felix Sander combines the creativity of an artist, the mindset of an entrepreneur and the heart of a sociologist. Felix finished studying socio-economics and marketing in his mid-twenties and soon became a creative entrepreneur in the digital space. His latest activities include, growing a blockchain marketing agency and being an active advisor to startups with a digital product. In all his roles he was able to help secure millions of funds for the respective projects via ICOs, IDOs and public membership donations.

Josephine Tögemann, CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
Josephine is an all-rounder that is skilled in managing projects and administrative tasks, digital - and social media marketing strategies, writing, design and postproduction. With a background in PR and marketing, she supports APPICS with written communication, organizational tasks and community management.

Dr. Art Malone, ADVISOR
Dr. Malone graduated from the University of Washington and holds a Bachelors Degree as well as Two Masters Degrees and a Ph.D.   Dr. Malone has helped many companies as an advisor and/or Consultant. Over the past seven years, he has been responsible for introducing over 100 million dollars to public and private companies and has assisted some of those companies in getting listed on several exchanges. 

Paul Ring, PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS OPERATIONS, U.S.
Paul a Grammy-winning producer that has had a long tenure of success as President of two record companies distributed exclusively with Universal Music over the past 23 years. This  position encompassed management of all operations of the company including artist acquisition, budgeting, production and marketing.  Ring has sustained a high level of success working with both legendary celebrities and developing artists in all genres of entertainment.

Darin Olien, DIRECTOR OF STRATEGIC ALLIANCES
Darin Olien is co-host of the Emmy™ nominated, #1 Netflix docu-series “Down to Earth with Zac Efron.”  An author of the New York Times best-selling book, “SuperLife: The five fixes that will keep you healthy, fit and eternally awesome” and is a widely recognized exotic superfoods hunter, supplement formulator where he has spent nearly 20 years traveling the planet discovering new and underutilized exotic foods and medicinal plants. Darin is also the Director of Strategic Alliances and the Global Health Ambassador for APPICS.
