Currently the SCD Eliminator is a unique state-of-the-art patented electronics device that guards your license plate from umwanted photos from speed cameras. Many people are tired of being used as a way to increase budget shortfalls by cities using speed cameras as a means of profit. Some cities have deals with camera manufacturers who install the cameras free of charge providing the municipality splits the revenue with them. We think this practice is unfair but we have a way to stop this abomination. The SCD sits quietly above the license plate waiting for the signature from an authorized photo attempt. When such an attempt is detected we fire a super bright white light focused onto the plate. The unauthorized camera gets a great shot of the car, but the license plate ID is removed. The whole event from detection to removal happens in less than 1/2 a microsecond and is invisible to the naked eye. It is considered Privacy, Security and Identity Protection at the SPEED of LIGHT. We do not detect the radar or interfere with it in any way, we do not stop the radar from getting your speed reading, and we do not cover the plate with a plastic cover or anything else................ other than light for and only for a very short period of time.

Each of our preliminary runs sold out very quickly and we need to increase production to meet demand plus a defined marketing budget is needed to effectively reach the entire market quickly. The APCI Power Hub is included with the SCD and is another of our patented technologies. This simple device allows the user to connect any major brand of radar detector, major brand of laser diffuser (Including our own in development) front and rear SCD Eliminators and other special projects we are working on. Once plugged in they are all at the control of one button on the front panel  which can be remotely located wherever the user likes and the body with countermeasures buzzer can be hidden up under the dash or anywhere within 12 feet of the button.

Another part of the equation is the anti-paparazzi version of this device that stops paparazzi from aquiring license plate information for all types of high profile figures from all walks of life such as film and television celebrities, sports stars, music celebrities, and political figures. Their licese plate ID is the gateway to finding out where they live.

A lot of information can be gathered from the license plate including name, address, city, Postal Code, birthdate, social security, telephone and more. This is Information that ALL individuals should fight to protect as this can often be the first step in identity theft or worse.

In addition this technology is being seen as a valuable way to counter potential terrorism on government officials operating cars, trucks and SUV's in foreign, often hostile lands.

The SCD ships with the license plate unit, APCI Power Hub, dataport power supply, all wires needed and mounting hardware. The box is configured to accept single SCD with APCI or dual SCD (Front and rear) with APCI. Shipping weight is just under one pound

The Euro and Australian version ship in a wider box and can be configured one up or two up. We would really like to improve on our packaging going from a box system to blisterpack would be a dream come true.

Martin - Is the originator of the Photo Radar Eliminator. The original SCD was drawn on a ketchup soaked napkin which he still has today. Martin co-produced the SCD with the help of a team unlike any other. He remains a part of the driving force that took the SCD from concept through prototype to reality and knows the product inside and out.

John - John was the first person that saw and appreciated the SCD Concept. As a retired Marine Corp Countermeasures Specialist John co-produced the SCD with Martin under a watchful extremely knowledgeable eye. In addition John is developing new and innovative ideas for Applied Physics. John is the man who pulls it all together and is there when we need him every time.

Frank - Our resident electronics guru is simply stated a genius at work. Frank has pioneered some groundbreaking new approaches to the use of light and has been responsible for the final development, polishing and layout of all Applied Physics works in play.

Mark I - Our UK Marketing Manager is our lead into the largest photo radar market in the western world. Mark's unique understanding of the UK and European market assures our success in a timely fashion.

Mark II - Lead Assembly Technician is an integral part of the team that has pioneered the techniques and materials work to bring the SCD from parts to packaged. He is responsible for several innovations contributing to the final assembly and packaging of the SCD.

Jim - Mechanical Engineer has been the team player behind the housing, lens and reflector systems in an SCD. His knowledge of mechanical engineering puts him at the top of a very well respected crowd.

Michael - The Wizard of CAD brings the ketchup soaked napkin stickman to a three dimensional object. Sometimes we don't know how he does it we are just thankful that he can.

Jamie - Finance and Logistics is a tough gig at any company and Jamie steps up to the plate everyday and makes herself known she manages to organize all of us into a working unit.

Rich - It's all about production. Rich took one look at the SCD and knew we had a winner. A product that he can be proud of making right here in America and exporting all over the world. Rich knows the electronics production game inside and out. Rich is innovative and ready to bring Applied Physics Products to market.
