Introducing Assured Space Access Technologies, the company that is finally making space-to-ground communications affordable for the world’s small budget operations.

Numerous new satellites are being launched into Earth’s orbit every year. But, until now, the ground communications systems that transmit these satellites’ messages have been reserved for the biggest companies in the world.

We are opening the doors to the future with our new global ground system network, ATLAS, that will finally put telemetry, tracking and command (TT&C) within reach of lower budget companies.

By the year 2020, more than 2750 new satellites will be put into Earth’s orbit. In order for these satellites to be effective, they must be able to transmit data to the ground. Ground communication systems cost millions of dollars – sometimes even more than the satellites themselves. As a result, small businesses and satellite operation communities can’t afford TT&C access and all of the data management value it offers.

At ASAT, we have been searching for the solution to this problem since our inception in 2001. And now we are mere steps away from making it a reality. Our global ground system network, ATLAS, will allow small operations access to a global satellite network at a price they can afford. This means that companies that rely on small satellite operations can now enjoy the same global communication access and data management that larger companies have had access to for years.

The ATLAS system is being created by our team of professionals who have years of experience in the aerospace industry.

It is available as a flexible, price-per-minute ground service at a cost that is 80% less than large legacy service providers. We offer you chunks of time on our network so that you don’t have to pay any more for service you don’t think you’ll need.

Among other benefits, the most unique aspect of ATLAS is that its entire network is hosted on Amazon Cloud. It is time synchronized, so you can get alerts via mobile, email or web, giving you convenient, unimpeded access to key activities on the network. With other options, companies must have additional hardware to move data from the antenna to the facility. But with us, you can take any antenna and plug it into our digital ATLAS network. We are the only company that offers this innovative solution.

ATLAS is past the development and prototyping phases. We are now demonstrating its capabilities on actual satellites in orbit. In doing so, we are gaining the attention of major players in the aerospace industry.

In less than two weeks of initial marketing, we have already engaged and are providing cost estimates and proposals for four customers, a result that looks to be the start of major product acceptance and quick customer acquisition. These four customers are RapidEye, OmniEarth, Kinetx and Blue Canyon Technologies (BCT).

RapidEye has requested our service by the end of 2015. This is a deal that will create revenue in excess of $1.8 million. The other three customers are planning to launch a total of 120 by the end of 2018. BCT has even submitted proposals to co-brand ATLAS as a part of their solution. Each of these customers has proven that our concept is attractive and that the need for our product is abundant.

We have also established several partnerships to help expand our credibility and reach. RT Logic and Kratos, two of the largest and most advanced satellite telecommunications solutions providers in the U.S., have recently partnered with us. Kratos is the partnership that allows us to offer our solution through the Cloud. By doing this, we effectively eliminate the need for high operating costs of traditional brick and mortar satellite operations centers. In addition, Kinetx Aerospace sought us out to market ATLAS as a commercial solution for their customers.

Our very first ATLAS mission antenna is currently undergoing tests in Malibu, California to demonstrate its capabilities. We plan to establish global footprints with three new stations by 2015. After that, more and more antennas are planned to be added in locations across the world.
