Wow, the past 3 years have gone by so quickly.  Now we at Beachside Bikes are off to to another fun season here in Atlantic Beach NC.  With this new season, an expansion is on the near horizon.  We have made great friends and memories with our guests that explore Atlantic Beach and its Crystal Coast.  It's now time to add another location to anchor the west end of the Crystal Coast. Our projected opening is mid April, 2014.  This is where YOU come in.  Check our rewards and we know you will be sure to find something that tickles your fancy!  Happy scootering! Since inception of our website in 2013, customers can now make beach cruiser and scooter rental inquiries and check on availability dates.  They can even make their reservations online if they choose to do so.  Those that make scooter reservations  will receive an orientation on the safe operation and rules of the road for their scooter.  Before touring the island they are accompanied with their instructor on an orientation ride.  Once this is completed you will be on your own to explore the Crystal Coast!

Beachside Bikes opened its doors in March 2011.  With our attention to detail and fun atmosphere, we quickly became a go to place for vacationers to experience the coast in a different way (scootering).

In May of 2011, we sold our first scooter.  This was not part of the business plan but we soon adapted and became a retail operation as well.  Wow, was that crazy?  Realizing a need for affordable transportation for summer employees and mainstays, we created our "Rent To Ride Program", an affordable solution for those who financially couldn't buy a scooter up front.  When you couple all of the aspects of the business it equals success.  Revenues have increased 18-23% each year.  Did I mention a full service repair shop as well?

Beachside Bikes has set a standard when it comes to customer service.  As a customer you just don't just show up and receive the keys to a scooter and given a nod and wish you luck.  Riders and purchasers are given an orientation on the rules of the road, safe riding techniques and an actual orientation ride before riding on their own.  We share information with our customers from the best seafood on the island to other fun things to do while visiting.  We encourage other businesses to leave brochures on site as we realize vacationers want variety when it comes to keeping themselves entertained.

Another aspect of our rental business that is different is our delivery service.  Whether its 4 miles or 20, we load up scooters and beach cruisers and take the show on the road.  That's why we need your help expanding to our second location.  The funds raised will secure the new rental location.  Monies will go to a new site, signage and be appropriated towards marketing, advertising and servicing equipment.  We hope you find a reward that suits you. We look forward to meeting our new future friends.  Thanks for your support!!!!
