The Bearded Owl is a craft brewery that will be opening in the Peoria Warehouse District this winter. Our beers will be handcrafted in small batches with an emphasis on experimentation and quality. Our goal is to challenge the assumptions of what beer can be while still paying homage to traditional styles.

The owl represents our vision and unwavering commitment to our craft. In our logo the owl is made of hops and grain representing our dedication to obtaining the highest quality ingredients available to us. The roots represent our local ties to the community and our families here in the Peoria area. We feel it’s important to give back and to do our part to contribute locally. 

We want to be able to provide a comfortable and communal setting that Central IL residents will be proud to call their own. Breweries are expensive, and although we are fully funded, we would love to be able to go the extra mile and do some really cool things in the space that will set us apart from other beer experiences! If we hit our goal, we would use the funds to do the following:

- Rebuild the entryway to the brewery
- Purchase a crowler machine so that we can send you home from the brewery with big cans full of goodness
- Purchase a test system, so we can validate and perfect our beer experiments before we bring them to you!

We have put together some awesome packages that we want to share with you for your help in making the Bearded Owl something unique that our community will be proud of!

A group of owls is called a Parliament of Owls, so it is only fitting that our exclusive brewery membership club use the same name.

Those who choose to join the Bearded Owl Parliament will have members only access to specials, limited beer releases and limited merchandise that non members will not have the same access to. In addition, there will be yearly Parliament gatherings where we will brew up something special for our members.

Yearly membership will guarantee access to at least 4 special releases that year, two yearly Parliament gatherings, and one yearly t-shirt in addition to other specials or fun things that we may come up with. You will be there with us for all of the cool things we do!

We will not be offering lifetime membership opportunities after we open, so now is the time to get in! Stay tuned for more information on what Parliament has to offer as we get closer to opening.

Looking for an easy way to take some of our beer on the go? It will be hard to fill your glass without one of these! The inaugural 32 oz Bearded Owl growler will help you transport some sweet liquid back to your house or to a friends house where you can share!

T-shirt

We've been asked a lot when we will make this shirt available - so here it is! The Bearded Owl logo adorns the front and the "2 dead guys" are sharing some beer out on the back. We will never make this exact shirt again making it truly unique, so get it while you can!

Grand Opening Party

Those of you who sign up for level three and above will receive an exclusive invite to our grand opening event. That's right, you will get to see the brewery and try our beer before the rest of the general public! Once we run out of space we may have to pull this item, so make sure to get these early!

Brew with the brewers

Now we start to get into some fun stuff. Those that sign up for this will have the chance with 2 of their most loyal friends to brew with the Bearded Owl Brewers! Mash in? Check. Sparge? Check. Whirlpool a bunch of citrusy hops for our hazy IPA? Check. This reward is limited in quantity, so make sure to grab it quick!

Name a Bearded Owl Fermenter

Want to put your own personal touch on the Bearded Owl brewing process forever? Pledging for this reward will allow you to name one of our fermenters! We will fix the name you choose right on front of one of them, which will be visible from the main seating area. We are opening with four fermenters, so these are extremely limited.

Design, create and have a special release party for your own beer!

Have you ever wanted to design a beer, brew it, then name it and have a special release party with 20 of your closest friends? Now is your chance! You will get to work with the brewers in all phases of the brewing process and then schedule your own special release date where you get to drink your creation and with your peers for. And remember, its your beer, so you and your freinds can drink it for free! Once again - this may be a one time offer, so make sure to pledge before it's gone!
