What We Do

Bizwatch is an online optimization suite that catches common advertising mistakes, recommends and fixes these mistakes. Bizwatch will define the curve of online business. It increases conversions, conversion rates and lowers cost per conversion.

How It Works

Bizwatch has an online optimization suite that pulls 13 months of historical Google Adwords & Analytics conversion data. It analyzes historical Google PPC vs SEO performance data, pulls an SEO ranking benchmark, compares to predictive data, and then looks for the common mistakes made in online advertising. It compares the advertiser to the top competitors. Bizwatch catches the 10 most common advertising mistakes made in Google Adwords. It saves mid-market advertisers tens if not hundreds of thousands in mistakes. It increases conversions, conversion rates and lowers the cost of conversion or new customer acquisition, through ongoing weekly and monthly performance monitoring reporting & analysis. Bizwatch is at market with an integrated pay per click (PPC) & SEO keyword performance analysis platform, but is enhancing its platform with the automated audit that catches both PPC and SEO mistakes, the first being Adwords mistakes as that's where most out-of-pocket money is being spent by the mid-market advertiser. Bizwatch will not only detect these mistakes, but through historical data analysis and basic predictive modeling, analyze if fixes are put in place, what improvements may be made in conversions, click-thru rates, conversion rates and cost of conversion or cost of acquisition in the online advertising space. Bizwatch is focused first on Adwords PPC and Google organic. While social media is rising in importance, most of the budget is geared towards Google Adwords at this time. Thus, it's more important to focus on catching mistakes where the greatest reward will be seen, visualized and proven in ongoing monthly performance analysis.

History, Traction, & Why We're Raising

This is my second search marketing company, which was founded in 1997 to provide search marketing services. Bizresearch was my first. Bizwatch evolved out of Bizresearch, as an toolset. We are market with Bizwatch, and have 10 paid licenses, 8 customers. We are seeking new customers, through bootstrapping. I personally bootstrapped, never considered fundraising until a year ago.  I hired the CTO, Bhanu Gadepalli, who is a full-time senior level Java programmer. Since she's been on board we've on-shored Bizwatch's current platform and have been working on a few API updates. We have an 18-month product roadmap and are executing on that. We are building the automated audit and analysis portion. We need UX/UI updates and HTML coding for the front-end, which is currently in Java, and another FT dedicated senior level Java developer who can handle SQL queries, DB architecture. We will seek follow-on angel investment. This is to get us to pre-seed as long as that doesn't create follow-on investment challenges. We have a pro-forma, cap table, and other legal documents for raising funding. We are TITC approved (Ohio Technology Investment Tax Credit) approved.

Why Buy / How We're Different

It is for the mid-market retailer, SaaS, manufacturer that has spent at least $5k per month in Google Adwords for the past year, and has an in-house marketing manager who needs to improve customer acquisitions and lower the cost per acquisition, or further improve return on advertising spend (ROAS) between both Pay Per Click Advertising and Search Engine Optimization efforts. We are targeting 30,000 companies who have at least $10M or more in sales, and up to $1B in annual sales. We are targeting 14% of this market, or 4,250 customers in four years.
