Coding2020 is a global computer coding and gaming virtual learning center for kids ages 4 through 18.

We built a proprietary Virtual classroom platform to administer our courses and manage user experience from class scheduling to choosing coursework, to paying for classes, to storing materials learned. Courses are delivered virtually anywhere in the world in real-time in one-on-one setting with an instructor.

The current coursework encompass the following areas: 

Coding: Python

Visual programming: Scratch, Unity

Gaming: we teach specific skills for playing popular computer games, e.g. Fortnite, combat, strategy, driving, flying, etc.

Game Development: Minecraft, Unity, Blender

Graphics Design: 3D graphics, motion design

Security and Encryption: encryption, data science, network security

We do not offer accredited course work. We teach vital skills.
We do not compete with schools' curriculums. We are in the afterschool space.
We do not offer pre recorded lessons. We teach one on one in real time
We are 100% virtual and scalable to 50,000 concurrent user sessions at push of a button (number is 50K now, but could easily be scaled up)
We own virtual platform and course work. Do not depend on licensing or paying royalties
We have a 501.c.3 status. We are applying for grants. We will approach school districts and will offer our courses at no charge to kids during after school hours (utilize grants to cover costs). At some point we will have enough data and past performance where we could start selling the courses to school districts (aftercare only) and obviously we plan to convert afterschool users to paying customers

Competitive Advantage:

We have an opportunity  to capture the market: “ there is a major opportunity for the next generation of large-scale education companies that should better represent the enormous size of the six-trillion-dollar education market.” 

We circumvent a traditional instructor lead classroom educational model by providing an opportunity to students to learn 1-on-1 with a skilled instructor on student’s own pace.

The adoption curve to virtual classroom has grown by leaps and bounds due to Covid-19. The entire country stayed indoors during the mandated stay-at-home order imposed back in March. The second wave has followed. We are at the right time and place to launch the virtual classroom

Historically, many players in the EDU domain rely on franchise model for growth. When you are going into a traditional brick and mortar setting you become settled with rent payments and lose flexibility on the scheduling front. As a fully virtual platform Coding2020 is not settled with legacy costs: rent, office, utilities, communications, etc.

The demand for remote learning, particularly in one-on-one setting, will be growing for the foreseeable future. “Most recently, there is a “bright spotlight on it as a sector benefiting from more stay-at-home children and parents anxious to keep them busy, learning and engaged.” It can be clearly seen that digital education technology has been transforming lives of billions of people around the globe
