Imagine it’s Monday night and there are 16,500 customers in 330 locations all over Australia, paying $95 to play poker. The winner of each location is then flown by us on a Saturday to a central venue to play for $1 million in cash and prizes. Now imagine, the poker tournament applied to all different types of social leisure events; darts, basketball 3x3, virtual triathlon…the types of events are endless. 

We are a large scale event management company, eliminating structural, financial and personal barriers that single venue events can’t address, by delivering our events through a network of venues across Australia and as a result, allowing for national, weekly run amateur level social leisure events, that can actually change people’s lives.

Product/Service Details

We offer event management services for amateur social leisure activities (our events/ products). Put simply, we handle all the affairs when designing and executing our distinguishing events at partner venues.

Our partner venues include 330 pubs and clubs across Australia, with the first types of social leisure events offered within these venues being poker and darts. 

Our solution to deliver events through a network of venues means we can apply our economies of scale model into other markets and products. 

Traction & Accomplishments

Over the last 6 months, we have conducted market research, refined our business model, mapped out the venue areas and projected the next 3 yr financials. As a business we are currently focused on venue acquition and investor funding. Over the next 3 months, we will also look to attract the best talent possible to join our team, in areas of sales, marketing, and event management, by offering profit share, scale up career opportunities, and supportive work conditions.

How We're Different

While we have competitors in the market such as all other venues hosting social leisure events and corporate structures who have multiple events under the same brand such as Entain Venues, our competitive advantage is based on how we distribute our events. Due to our events being connected through a network, compared to our competitors who run events in multiple venues however in isolation from each other, we can provide:

  • An “experience” factor;
  • Low entry fee;
  • More winners winning;
  • Larger rewards and prize pools; 
  • Shorter length of event duration; 
  • National recognition and competition; 
  • Fairer playing rules; 
  • Increased winning probability/ Decreased competition in order to be a win; and 
  • Actual member base to apply membership services and management to.

For example, our value for money proposition allows for our weekly local socialiser poker event to be priced at $95 buy-in, with a guaranteed $50K prize pool yr 1, $100K yr 2 and $250K yr 3 compared to the current market offering a buy in of $90K for a guaranteed $10K prize pool.

Kim Tullio - Co-founder & COO

Diverse skills in building from the ground up & execution.  


I have experience with operational efficiency and delivery, compliance, and training due to 7 years of work with 4 growth fintech firms. In addition, I have experience with marketing, recruitment and Franchisee management from working within a Franchisee for 2 yrs and at a recruitment agency.
