Hi everyone! My name is Tesa, and as the President of Decadence I’m reaching out to you because we really truly need your support! Today, we bake from a commercial kitchen space and deliver cupcakes to our online community. However, our ultimate goal is to open a great location for our customers—but we know that we have to crawl before we can walk!  So, with your support, we plan to up our cupcake game and share our confections with treat-seekers throughout the DMV from our very own…Decadence Mobile Cupcakery (mobile cupcake truck)!

Your support is so important to us! We are striving to reach our goal, but we need additional financial backing so that we can reach the clients that we can not reach today, and finally have mobile location where our clients can visit, and enjoy decadent treats. TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN! 

Decadence Cupcakery got its start in 2011 by introducing our unique flavors, getting feedback, and spreading the word about the Decadence brand. Since then we’ve sold over 5,000 cupcakes to customers throughout DC, Maryland and northern Virginia.

Cupcakes are the stars of the Decadence menu, but they’re just the beginning: we offer a full complement of sweet treats including rum balls, cookies, cake pops, pies, tarts, macaroons and, for the adventurous and over-21 set, “Valid ID,” our line of alcohol-infused cupcakes and other delights.

Decadence Cupcakery began when founder, CEO and proud mom, Tesa decided to make her lifelong passion for baking a professional reality. This allowed her to pursue her dreams of owning a business and having a career, while providing the flexibility needed for her autistic son.

You could say that baking is a family affair: Tesa’s grandmother, Laura, worked in Washington DC's Blair House as a baker for the Reagan administration, and President Reagan fell in love with her apple pie. Now, Tesa is proud to be carrying on the family tradition and living the dream for herself and for her son.

Until now, Decadence Cupcakery has been an online-only operation, delivering cupcakes by-hand to our customers, but now we believe that the next best step is to better service our customers via a mobile cupcakery! 

 We believe that most bakeries today are generic, uninviting, in-and-out places, but that’s not what Decadence has in mind. Our ultimate vision is to create a bakery-café hybrid where guests are welcome to sit back, relax and enjoy a little coffee and conversation while enjoying delicious cupcakes and confections. Our vision will also feature comfortable seating, music, WiFi, televisions — everything guests need to feel at home. Plus, of course, plenty of delicious, decadent cupcakes to sweeten the deal! 

The Decadence Mobile Cupcakery is our first step towards making our ultimate storefront dream a reality. And we can't express enough how much we need your support to make this happen!  By purchasing a mobile cupcakery we can reach our existing wonderful customers, and even welcome new clientele by coming right to them!
