Down Range Indoor Training Center is a new business venture started by a partnership consisting of Will Clark, a former Navy SEAL and current Chico Police Officer, and Steve Dyke, a current Chico Police Officer with 12 years of law enforcement experience. Both partners are also active members of the Chico Police Department SWAT Team.

Down Range Indoor Training Center will consist of 12 lanes of 25 yard Pistol, Rifle, and Shotgun rated ranges. It will also consist of a 12 lane 50 yard indoor Archery range.

Product/Service Details

Down Range Indoor Training Center will be a full retail sporting goods store and indoor range with firearms, ammuntion, firearm accessories, bow, arrows, and archery accessories. It will offer an onsite gunsmith and lounge consessions area. There will be two training classrooms to teach youth, adults, and women's only classes. Future classes and groups will include: collegiate shooting teams, high school teams, paralympic teams, and youth groups including Boy Scouts/ Girl Scouts/ 4H/ FFA.

Down Range Indoor Training Center principal owners have over 20 years of cumulative experience working with firearms, ammunition, explosives, and military munitions.

How We're Different

Down Range Indoor Training Center is a unique business that offers a safe atmosphere to teach responsible gun ownership, and to educate the children in our families. We believe that safety comes from education and training.

When we complete construction of the business, we will have the only regional Indoor Range that can accomodate Pistol, Rifle, and Shotgun users. We also will have the longest indoor Archery range in the region.

Former Navy SEAL and current Chico Police Officer 

Will Clark is a Former Navy SEAL and current Police Officer. He currently is a member of the SWAT Team and has served many roles to include his current position as a SWAT Sniper. He also serves as a Firearms Instructor for the Police Department.
