Electronic Health Network (EHN) is a health information company dedicated to helping physicians and other healthcare providers increase the quality and efficiency of their patient care by securely and electronically sharing patient health information.

The American healthcare industry is going digital. Hospitals, clinics, home health agencies, clinical research organizations and health insurance providers across the industry and across the country are changing their record-keeping and -sharing systems over from physical to electronic, with the goal of improving patient outcomes, streamlining processes, and lowering costs for healthcare providers and patients alike. But in order to successfully make the transition, healthcare providers need access to technology that makes electronic document sharing efficient, effective and, above all, secure.

Electronic Health Network has created that technology. Our MASH iNetwork is the fastest, most secure, most complete electronic document sharing solution available today, and positions EHN to become a trusted partner for healthcare providers across the nation in the years to come.

Electronic Health Network's MASH iNetwork (Multiple Application Secured Health Information Network) is an electronic record-sharing platform that offers healthcare providers a fast, efficient, easy-to-use, safe and secure means of accessing and sharing patients' health information in real-time. Through MASH, providers can:

Integrate patient records

Streamline payment processes

Increase revenues

Reduce medical errors

Improve quality of care

Enhance patient compliance and accountability

The core technology underlying the EHN platform has served over 300 million patients in 24 different over the past 10 years. Independent industry experts have consistently rated our underlying technology above similar platforms. The EHN platform has been found to address as many as 2-3 times the number of care protocols as even our closest competitor.

EHN technology can support any and all standard-based, health-related applications and devices, a claim that no other HIE vendor can make. Furthermore, ours is also the only IHE technology to have integrated a patient consent-to-share system for behavioral healthcare providers that enables them to securely share highly confidential patient information with one another, as well as with their counterparts providing medical care.

EHN’s core product, the Multiple Application Secured Health Information Network, or MASH iNetwork, is a hybrid data model (HDM) that includes:

A virtual Clinical Data Repository (vCDR) that grants healthcare providers immediate access to patient PHI

A federated data architecture, to logically separate data into “vaults”

A highly secured virtual private network (VPN) that gives organizations control over who can access

The system architecture design consists of an IHE-based Health Information Exchange (HIE), Electronic Health Record (EHR) Integration Engine and a community-based, Personal Health Record (PHR) with multiple applications, such as the behavioral care patient consent-to-share mentioned above, and data analytics tools.

EHN has already made tremendous strides towards making affordable, efficient, high-quality record sharing technology available to healthcare providers throughout the United States.

The Multiple Application Secured Health Information Network (MASH iNetwork) is production-ready and already in use by 5 customers, including Prince George’s County Maryland, the health department and several other health care providers.

EHN recently secured a contract with George Washington University Hospital, and we have an additional contract pending that is worth over $1.5 million pending this year alone.

And there is much more still to come from EHN! Our team is hard at work developing new applications that can be integrated with the Mash iNetwork platform, including our Consent 2 Share application, which is scheduled for demonstration in September of this year.
