Product/Service Details

Elecyr’s flagship model is the The Daily Sun, a product that is the result of exhaustive market research, multiple redesigns and a deep respect for customer feedback. We are proud to introduce this intelligent appliance to the Smart Home ecosystem. The Daily Sun is a plug-and-play, solar power system that can be installed by the home owner and expanded to power buildings of any size. Modularity reduces the high costs of solar power installation and makes the promise of energy self-sufficiency a reality today.

Last year, Morgan Stanley released a report saying that investors have “missed a major megatrend” which “threatens massive disruption in the trillion-dollar utility business. The falling costs of both solar modules and battery storage present a potential tipping point that could encourage huge numbers of homeowners and businesses in the U.S. to go off-grid.”

According to Stanford’s Tony Seba and others, the cost of rooftop solar will reach parity with grid power by 2020. Reba further predicts that by 2030 the market disruption will signal the end of the centralized power grid as we know it.

In many parts of the world, this tipping point has already been reached. Cell phones first became ubiquitous in South America and parts of Africa before becoming popular in the United States, where the land line phone system was reliable, reliable and established. The same is happening with distributed rooftop solar power coupled with local energy storage. In many developing countries and island nations, solar is well-adopted, the grid is unreliable and the cost of electricity is $0.50 per kWh or more. These are the best markets for Elecyr, where payback on the Daily Sun is as low as a two years. The United States and the rest of the world will adopt this liberating technology within the next decade as indicated by historical data.

Quick Pitch

Elecyr designs and manufactures products that apply Internet routing techniques to power distribution.  The company's Digital Microgrid™ product is particularly suited to mobile and rapid deployment applications including military base camps and emergency response.  The product incorporates renewable energy and power management of generators to lower power consumption by, in some cases, as much as 90%.

How We're Different

Elecyr brings an all-inclusive solar plus energy storage package to the consumer market with a 25-year warranty. The product design doesn't require specialized or centralized manufacturing facilities which means it can be built anywhere on the planet and carries an obscenely high profit margin. But our systems are also advanced enough to instantly integrate into a Smart Home ecosystem with a Bluetooth connection. Most importantly, we're the only truly-modular product out there which means our products will serve as the building block for systems of any size.
