For those in the dentistry field, it’s no secret. But for the average person this may be a surprise: tooth decay is the No. 1 bacterial infection in the world.

Dentists and dental hygienists have recommended fluoride treatment for years, but it only aids in preventing tooth decay – and the truth is, it’s limited in its effectiveness.

For more than 20 years, we’ve understood how laser modification
of enamel works. Removal of carbonate reduces susceptibility to
oral decay.

Defined by the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF)’s extensive research. Enamel Pure built a test setup and has previously tested all of UCSF’s theories to arrive at our final pre-production architecture.

Customer Acceptance
UCSF – one of the U.S.’ two premier dental research schools – has proven the technology works in the oral cavity through various in-vitro and in-vivo studies. This research (sponsored by the NIH) is the foundation of our FDA 510(k) acceptance. The results from EP’s preproduction laser system will be independently confirmed via UCSF and Thermametrics for the FDA submission. UCSF’s lead professor is on EP’s Clinical Advisory Board.

Patents & Intellectual Property (IP)
Three (3) provisional patent applications have been filed
with the USPTO. They disclose three (3) inventive families re: laser treatment improvements, intra-oral laser delivery, and laser fluoride methods to protect against revenue piracy. These three families of provisional patents will mushroom to over 10 patents. We have also filed trademark requests for “Enamel Pure” and the terms “laser fluoride” and “enamel purification”.
