ESC creates products designed to address the world’s ongoing battles against pandemics and disease transfer, with a particular focus on mosquito-borne illnesses such as Malaria, Zika virus, Dengue fever and the West Nile virus.

Current ESC products – including Enviro-cide™ & my-shield® product branding which includes insect repellents, health and personal care products – will benefit industries and assist disadvantaged populations throughout the world while reducing environmental impact in the process.

Decreasing the transfer of mosquito-born viruses alone could save millions of lives annually. ESC is going to make a profound positive impact on our world. ESC will fight the spread of infections and diseases, and keep harmful chemicals out of our bloodstreams and the environment.

Not only does alcohol irritate the skin, but it winds up in the bloodstream and can cause significant damage to the body, in addition no other hand sanitizer currently available on the market including alcohol based products kill C-Diff spores which is a constant cause of human loss of life throughout the world's health care facilities In 2015, the FDA harshly criticized sanitizers with high alcohol or benzyl chloride content. It’s safe to say that once an alcohol-free alternative that isn’t absorbed through the skin becomes widely available, these products will no longer be allowed on the shelves.

Thanks to Enviro Specialty Chemicals (ESC), that day is very near.

my-shield®, ESC’s patented nano technology, eliminates or greatly reduces transdermal absorption. In other words, the company creates topically applied products that are not absorbed through the skin. This means that ESC products will meet or surpass current and future FDA requirements. Perhaps more importantly, their products are safer for both the body and the environment and already demonstrate superior efficacy to any product available in the marketplace today

my-shield® is a nano silane antimicrobial coating – an invisible, artificial skin  film-like substance that you don’t feel or know is there.

Traditional, antimicrobial products dissipate quickly, either into bloodstream or environment, and their effects are short lived. my-shield® products, on the other hand, disinfect & protect against reinfection for up to 4 hours, not seconds. They have exceptionally low toxicity, so they are far gentler on the body and environment.

ESC products are up to 96% water. Since my-shield® works without being absorbed into the body, ESC products require lower quantities of active ingredients to be effective. This makes ESC products inexpensive, successful antimicrobials.

The application potential of my-shield® is unlimited. Here’s a look at some of the major applications that ESC has been developing in earnest and the advantages of the ESC product. In all cases, it bears remembering that ESC is cheaper and safer than other commercial products.

my-shield® Repel & Repel X insect repellents
These two pending FDA & EPA registered long-lasting silane, nano antimicrobial insect repellents provides improved protection against all the mosquito-borne diseases mentioned earlier – Malaria, Zika virus, Dengue Fever and the West Nile virus. Because it is alcohol free, these repellents are safe for repeated application on  children, infants and sensitive skin.

The coating safeguards against bites for up to eight hours. Non combustible, this repellent enhances consumer safety and greatly reduced production & transportation cost directly due to our alcohol free formulation

my-shield® Repel & Repel X insect repellents dramatically reduce or eliminate percutaneous absorption of existing insect repellent active ingredients. At last, we will have a repellent that can knock out the viral transfer of diseases from mosquitoes into the bloodstream.

my-shield® Surface, Hand & Foot Sanitizers
These two FDA (pending) & two EPA registered products and in particular  the hand sanitizer may be the only topical hand sanitizer available in the USA that is compliant with the new FDA initiative #21 CFR Part 310. Further to this claim sporicidal claims form part of our objectives for this product, which will set it above any product available & then would no doubt be mandatory addition to the Healthcare industry. Again, there is little or no transdermal absorption, which also avoids skin cracking and drying. Anti-static, non-corrosive and nontoxic, these sanitizers  are safe for the skin and hard surfaces with protection from 4 hours to 28 days per single application.

Effective against superbugs, my-shield products manages to keep you sanitized for four hours on the skin to 28 days on hard surfaces not 30 seconds as per our competitors. What’s more, my-shieldⓇ Surface, Hand & Foot Sanitizers are available with iridescent trace, to assist in the monitoring of use protocols specific for infection transfer claims in the healthcare industry.

my-shield® Burn, Scar, Diaper Rash and Topical antiseptic
With similar properties to the hand sanitizer formulation to the hand sanitizer, these product adds skin regenerative properties. The silane nano antimicrobial coating functions as an artificial skin that covers affected burn areas, greatly reducing the probabilities or effects of an infection. It reduces the effects of scarring, soothes skin irritation and diaper burn, this one formulation will be sold as four separately FDA registered products (4x different markets)

my-shield® Anti-mold
The my-shield® Mold & Mildew coating displays long-lasting efficacy against bacterial, fungal & mold infection. Just one application prevents mold for up to three months. This anti Mold & Mildew treatment can clean mold as well as prevent its growth. Anti-static and non corrosive, it’s safe on hard surfaces. It’s also nontoxic for workers, which eliminates respiratory and burn threats users typically contend with when applying such products.

Enviro-cide™ Ruby, Sapphire & Emerald (Biocide)
ESC will market bring to market a more environmentally sensitive biocide, designed to combat sulfur-reducing, acid-producing and iron-reducing bacteria contamination. It shows increased performance at extremes in temperature (0˚c  to 130˚c), acid & alkalinity conditions (2 to 12 pH).

Here are a few other highlights:

  • Comparable toxicity to competing biocides
  • Aids in the treatment of flowback water, which is conducive for recycling and reuse
  • Reduces biofilms and scale
  • Lower dosage rates (less chemicals down the hole)
  • Safer worker handling
  • Storage from -25˚c  to 45˚c
  • Cost competitive with similar products
  • Low corrosive

Enviro-cide™ S.Q, Sky & Aqua coatings
The Enviro-cide™ coating can be electrostatically sprayed. This allows ESC to supply inexpensive, antimicrobial barriers for ceramic-based potable water filtration systems, hydraulic fracturing equipment, aircraft and marine vessels.

An antimicrobial proppant sand coating (important for the oil & gas industry) is an industry first. Enviro-cide™ coating is more effective than silver-based technologies, and its non leaching chemistry is more environmentally friendly.

Healthcare, government, energy, aerospace – every sector you can think of will benefit from this astonishing technology. Enviro Specialty Chemicals is going to change how everyone approaches the fight against bacteria and diseases, improving lives while taking responsible care of our environment.

Enviro Specialty Chemicals has exclusive ownership of all the intellectual property for the Enviro-cide™& my-shield® environmentally friendlier and broad spectrum biocide, nano coating, sanitizers and insect repellent. The company has successfully completed Canada P.R.M.A experimental use research applications, and is pursuing the U.S. versions for their biocide.

ESC boasts an incredible team of research and supply partners including Gelest Inc., Lankenau Institute for Medical Research (LIMR), Murdock Research Institute (DHMRI), the University of Arizona, and Source Energy Services. Univar, a leading global distributor of industrial and specialty chemicals, will fulfill manufacturing and distribution needs across all of North America.

ESC is currently awaiting patent filing and regulatory approvals in order to commence commercial sales.
