The floor is a key element in designing your space, and yet there is an unfortunate lack of information available to consumers. One has to consider the different flooring products, design and color trends, sustainability, fashion and lifestyle to make an educated decision about buying the right flooring either for home or office.

We are the ONLY consumer magazine dedicated solely to flooring. Fabulous Floors Magazine strives to represent the full spectrum of offerings, from tiles, laminates, resilients, carpets, wood, rugs, wool, to cork and bamboo. We provide information on flooring products, color trends, designability, fashionability, sustainability as to which products will best fit their individual lifestyle. We provide both print as well as digital editions and create mobile apps for manufacturers. Our magazines are available on newsstands, booksellers, online via our website, and on magzter.com.

Currently there is no competition, since we are the only consumer flooring publication. Being the only consumer publication to focus on flooring as a major interior design element, we appreciate how important it is that we truly know the flooring consumer in and out. We research their wants and needs, and their buying habits. This information doesn't just guide our print and website content creation - it also gives us the advantage when performing training sessions for the retailer. It is essential to our growth that retailers consider us an educational resource for the flooring industry.

Fabulous Floors Magazine is leading the flooring industry into the digital arena, developing websites and custom apps that provide this information to a growing portion of the population who rely on devices, smartphones and tablets to guide their purchases. We have created a system that would allow flooring retailers to give away digital app versions of Fabulous Floors to their customers.

Aside from providing consumers and flooring retailers easier and more efficient digital access, Fabulous Floors Magazine is also used by flooring retailers to educate their salespeople - and therefore their clients - on new products.

Key Differentiating Factors:

Produce yearly 2 special edition books. Barnes and Noble have requested that Fabulous Floors produce new Tile and Wood books. Guaranteed placement with upward of $60-75K gross profit to the magazine per issue.

Build on our current relationships with retailers. Maintain our unique offering to the consumer and the retailer. Increase number of consumer focus groups and training sessions performed with retailers.

Build on current cooperative relationships with trade magazines. Increase electronic distribution and sales.

Unique Distribution includes:

• Barnes and Noble, Books A Million, Hastings, and other higher end independent booksellers.

• E-versions to ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) some 40,000 + members

• Bulk Purchases by manufacturers

• Bulk Purchases by flooring retailers

• Industry Trade Shows, Surfaces, Coverings, Neocon and NWFA Conventions

• Digital editions: Amazon, Magzter Fabulousfloorsmagazine.com website

We will continue to capitalize on these competitive advantages and establish our firm hold on the market.

Fabulous Floors Magazine has achieved impressive traction and made impressive strides in the last few years, strengthening the magazine's partnerships and increasing the product options, all to bring our readers the best experience possible. Here's what we have accomplished so far:

  • Fabulous Floors has pioneered the use of digital media in consumer flooring communications, offering digital versions of all publications and custom digital apps that offer high added value.
  • We have rebuilt our website and created a blog.
  • We have built a team of professionals who are hardworking and trustworthy individuals who we can count on.
  • In addition to printing our quarterly magazine, Fabulous Floors has worked recently with the Tile Council of North America, The Campaign for Wool, Mohawk, Dal Tile, American Olean and the National Wood Flooring Association
  • Fabulous Floors was chosen by HRH the Prince of Wales to produce a book in tandem with the launch of the Campaign for Wool in the US market last September. We created an app for the Campaign as well.
  • We create category-specific titles like Tile For Your Lifestyle, which moved tile away from the bucket and trowel and rebranded it as a more fashionable and design-forward flooring option
  • We are in the process of publishing a consumer book for the North American Laminate Flooring Association, (NALFA) and are developing digital interactive apps for tile, waterjet, laminate and carpet manufacturers. We are also looking to develop an app for an HGTV star and interior designer.

Rewards

With your help Fabulous Floors Magazine will be able to expand our presence on newsstands and in retail locations, and expand our publishing and app-developing capabilities. To reach the next level of our development we need to bring additional key personnel onto our team and devote more capital to research and product development, as well as marketing and public relations efforts.

Your pledge will go a long way to helping Fabulous Floors Magazine reach a wider audience. Thank you for your interest and support!
