FAIRWOOD:
FAST FACTS

Fairwood processes crops such as hemp, corn and flax into 100% environmentally sustainable, value-added products in the building material industry. Our product reduces CO2 emissions by 4X, avoids deforestation, and grows 25X faster than natural trees.

OVERUSE OF WOOD LEADS
TO DEFORESTATION

The extensive use of wood in the building material industry has caused and aggravated deforestation problems and has negatively impacted the environment. The industry needs a new, 100% sustainable wood product to replace the use of traditional wood.

FAIRWOOD IS A
SUSTAINABLE ALTERNATIVE

Fairwood manufactures 100% environmentally sustainable wood products made from renewable crops like hemp, corn, and more.

We’re in the process of securing the only exclusive license in Canada for 2 building products made of 100% sustainable material:

Hemp, corn and other renewable crops we use grow in a 90-day cycle, compared to traditional trees, which take 25 years.

HOW IT WORKS

Fairwood is a brand label that offers a combination of hemp-based wood (Hempwood), hemp/corn-based panels, and other building materials. These materials are further processed into kitchen cabinets, flooring, moulding, furniture and more in order to provide 100% environmentally sustainable products.

Hempwood™ is the product of pressing hemp stalks into densified wood. The pressing process was developed by Fibonacci LLC out of Murray, Kentucky, USA. Recently, Fibonacci developed, patented, and trademarked (supplemental) Hempwood™.

This product is harder and more stable than oak. It binds hemp stalks using bio-based adhesives, all of which grow in less than 6 months to replace 60 year + Oak trees.

Each acre of hemp replaces 15-30 trees per year.

We are also working to secure a similar agreement to manufacture chip boards or melamine boards from corn and hemp. The technology holder is German company Von Hanf, which manufactures an array of extremely durable, high-performing hemp- and corn-based products.

TRACTION & ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Product Development: The products have been developed by a third party. We have a preliminary agreement with 2 main products for exclusive manufacturing. We also have one mock idea of a product to be developed/enhanced.

Customer Acceptance: Customers are currently buying “traditional” products from us, such as kitchen cabinets and more. We generated $200K in revenue in 2019, $400K in 2020, and have $1M in PO in the first 6 weeks of 2021. We have real margins and profits and a better burn rate than a typical startup. We will be selling the “switch over” to 100% environmentally sustainable products once we are able to produce those in commercial quantities.

Patents/IP: We have filed a provisional trademark with a certification mark for “Fairwood”. This means we will be the only one able to certify and assign the word “Fairwood” to any and all products that we deem and qualify as environmentally friendly and sustainable. Our product partners, such as Hempwood, have patents for their respective products. Our agreement with them will include the patent.

Social Proof: Tangible proof shows the tremendous shift and desire from the masses to use more environmentally friendly products. More importantly, our products make a direct positive impact on the environment by avoiding deforestation and reducing the carbon footprint.

Partnerships: We have a provisional partnership with Hempwood, and Von Hanf, pending execution upon raising the financing needed.

Manufacturing/Distribution: We own our own manufacturing spaces, including 110,000+ sq. ft. of manufacturing space and 23+ acres of industrial land in New Brunswick, Canada. We will need additional equipment in order to set up the manufacturing of Fairwood products, but the main infrastructure is available. We also have an established relationship with the market (dealers and end users), and we intend to expand especially on the direct sale presence. Our assets are valued at almost $6M, which will be free and clear with the first round of recapitalization.

Press Mentions: We had several thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of views on on a press release we distributed last March. It made an appearance in at least a dozen of traditional media outlets (radios, newspapers, etc.), and was shared online to an extent we cannot quantify.
