Our third generation technology, GAME GOLF PRO, is driven by automotive-grade sensors placed on the waist and in golf clubs to collect usage data.  This includes what course you’re playing on, the tee box you’re using, the distance achieved with a golf club, and other metrics which are akin to PGATOUR stats.

All of this data is stored on the cloud and organized in a way that allows for data mining and surfacing of data insights by golf manufacturers & other brands.

From the golfer’s perspective, it’s displayed in the form of improvement-driving statistics on our web and mobile-accessible apps.  Rangefinder distance, on-course shot tracking, and optimal club distancing are just a few examples of how we help golfers dominate.

GAME GOLF was founded by CEO John McGuire, at the intersection of his passions for sport and technology.  With a background in software engineering & performance psychology, John became zeroed in on connected sports and its ability to solves some real brand and consumer challenges. ​

Leveraging top-level experience at firms like Nortel, CSC, Active Mind Technology, he then set out to bridge the gap - and the result was Game Your Game and GAME GOLF.  He’s now joined by a team of talented individuals that includes:​

  • Major Investor and Advisor Martin Manniche, former CTO of Cisco & CEO of a large IoT firm
  • Sales & Marketing exec Mike Francis, former GM of Nike Golf US, Canada, Europe
  • VP Engineering Jeremy Shaw, formerly of Epocrates, Centura/Gupta, and Plexus
  • Head of Sales Greg Moore, who served in the same position with Nike Golf US
  • Head of Marketing Vitalis Gommes, who served in the same position with Nike Golf
