PLi's vsion for education, called Profound Learning, involves the transformation of the traditional factory model of education, the "caterpillar" into the "butterfly" utilizing comprehensive teacher development, new systems for the delivery and management of learning which incorporates the latest neuroscience on learning  and  prepares students with measurable Future Ready skills.

The PLi ecosystem includes:

  • A proven comprehensive learning model for 21st century education called Profound Learning
  • GEENIUS Learning Orchestration System (LOS), a web-based system, that provides the tools for planning, tracking, assessment and orchestration of individualized learning.  Our system allows schools to break away from the traditional assembly line approach to education.

Traction & Accomplishments

The PLi action plan is to penetrate the market starting with school districts that are already practicing aspects of our Profound Learning Model. In the US, David Langford, one of the executives of PLi has trained over 40,000 persons in various training venues since 1992.  This represents approximately 8,000 schools.  These teachers, as well as whole school districts, are already teaching the foundation principles of Profound Learning and are aware of the Profound Learning Institute.  Our business model is to start with these teachers, schools, and school districts. Educators tend to be followers, so as we demonstrate success which is readily shared among teachers, we will create viral growth in our business. Our most effective marketing tool will be these teachers, schools and school districts that are achieving success through the application of PLi's learning models.

Tom Rudmik - CEO, Co-Founder

Tom Rudmik, an educator and entrepreneur, is the founder of Master's Academy and College. Tom is passionate about implementing REAL change and he is committed to the research and development of breakthroughs in learning and sharing them with the world. Tom is also an international speaker, instructing and guiding organizations that are confronting issues of obsolescence and the need for transformation. He has created an innovative and powerful organizational change model on how to become an Imaginal Organization. Tom is the author of the book, “Becoming an Imaginal Leader”. Tom is also the creator and facilitator of the Imaginal Transformation Workshop process that is being utilized by organizations around the world.


Andy Rudmik - CTO, Co-Founder

Dr. Andy Rudmik, provides leadership and direction for PLi’s software development team. Andy’s strengths are designing, developing and planning innovative technology systems. Previously, at Modus Operandi (MO), a boutique software house, Andy was the Sr VP/Chief Scientist and Principal Investigator on a number of state-of-the-art research projects with various Government Laboratories. His research interests include distributed systems, system modeling and model-based software development. At GTE, as a Senior Member of Staff, he quickly gained the respect of the corporate management for his deep technical expertise and his ability to comprehend technology trends and their impact on business and society. For 18 months, Andy was on the corporate “Next Generation Network” planning team responsible for developing plans for future products and business opportunities. Dr. Rudmik taught Computer Science at Concordia, Montreal, Quebec and Queens University, Kingston Ontario.

David Langford is the founder and thought leader within the Quality Learning movement since 1985. David has trained over 40,000 teachers and has a network of thousands of schools implementing his philosophy and methodologies derived from Edward Deming.  Quality Learning is the foundation upon which the Profound Learning™ model is built, that results in a high degree of students owning their learning. David is passionate in helping schools and educators implement REAL change resulting in Profound Learning.


JW Wilson - Chief Science Officer (CSO)

JW Wilson, the Executive Director of the Advanced Learning Institute, has spent more than twenty-five years conducting research into the fields of neuroscience, genetics, molecular biology, quantum physics, complexity science, and chaos theory. The result of his extensive 25+ years of brain research is that he has discovered the "Learning Code"– a scientific detective story and a paradigm shift in understanding how we learn.
