How it Works

GoBox allows users to input their food orders from their favorite restaurants and grocery stores into GoBox’s mobile application.

The application notifies the business of the order and uses GPS or a predetermined pickup time to inform the restaurant or store of the customer’s arrival time to pick up the order. Before the customer arrives, the restaurant or store places the order into the secure GoBox unit for the user to retrieve.

Upon placing the order, the customer is sent a QR code on their smart phone that is unique to their order. The customer drives to the business they placed their order with and approaches the GoBox Unit outside the store. The customer scans their provided QR code, and the GoBox unit dispenses the order.

What platforms are supported?

The GoBox application will be available to all major mobile platforms. GoBox’s initiall launch will encompass iOS and Andriod. GoBox is anticipated to be available on other operating systems after the initial launch.  

Can GoBox interface with companies already existing order ahead apps?

Yes, GoBox system will be able to interface with companies' already existing order ahead apps. Taco Bell will soon be rolling out their mobile ordering app, while McDonalds and Chick-fil-A reportedly have their own apps in the works. GoBox delivery system is designed to interface with all app ordering systems and allow customers a more convenient order pickup at the GoBox instead of having to wait in the traditional lines.

How are customers’ orders secure?

Access to the GoBox Unit is controlled by business the Box supports. Only the supporting restaurant or grocery store has access to all of the GoBox Unit’s order compartments. This is necessary for them to load customer’s orders. Customers are assigned order compartments based on their order size and are given a QR code that allows them temporary access to the compartment to retrieve their order. 

GoBox is different from other mobile and online ordering systems because of its ease of ordering, its accuracy and the simplicity of the delivery of the customer’s order. All other mobile and online ordering system requires the customer to park their vehicle and go into the building to retrieve their order.
