As an online retail professional with a hand for crafting jewelry,
Gemma Williams attended numerous craft shows.

She witnessed the grand showcasing of experienced and up-and-coming designer-makers, as well as many incredibly talented artists.

These inspiring creations made her wonder: how can she take everything she sees -- all this talent from all these individuals -- and make it accessible to everyone?

She then began to make plans to build an online destination that supported cutting-edge, handcrafted items.

From there, Haitch was born.

Gemma is responsible for the strategic levers and day-to-day management of the Haitch. Her accountability includes (and is not limited to) Business development, Merchandising, Performance marketing, Content and Editorial, Operations and Finance.

Gemma has 13 years of retail and e-commerce experience, both internationally launching and trading e-commerce brands across the UK, Russia and MENA. She has developed experience with UK retailers which include Tesco, Selfridges and Marks & Spencers. Her Middle Eastern retail experience spans key retail groups such as; MH Alshaya, Al Futtaim Retail Group and Al Tayer Retail Group.
