Here at iWrestle.com, we are working towards turning a dream in to a reality! A reality that we believe is a long time coming. There are many sports out there today that have a unique, tight-knit, dedicated following, but are simply missing that "oomph" and excitement to bring it to the forefront. As former wrestlers, we are beginning our journey with iWrestle.com: A mobile app game and social media website intended for the sport of wrestling (please see more info below for growth plans into other sports).

iWrestle.com is a place "Where Wrestling Never Ends"™. A mobile app game and social website compatible on both iOS and Android devices, our platforms will allow current and past wrestlers, fans, family, friends, etc. to enjoy the sport of wrestling on the go; anytime, anywhere! Users will not only be able to play against anyone around the world, they can also interact with one another using "My Social Mat" of iWrestle.com. Think of it as a Facebook for wrestlers and wrestling fans with a twist - a competitive game that interacts with its own social media website. All wrestling, all the time... 

Mission: Everything we do is done with our users and customers in mind. Both our strategy and subsequent initiatives are based on this premise. iWrestle.com aims to excel in professionalism, follow through, promptness, and above all, delivering an exciting and interactive platform to our loyal and unique wrestling community. 

The mobile app is a fully functional platform for both the game and social media component of iWrestle.com, My Social Mat. Upon downloading the app, users will be able to engage in ALL aspects and features of iWrestle.com. The game allows user to wrestle against random opponents, friends, and the computer. As already mentioned, users will also have access to My Social Mat within the app to communicate, view, and share content including posts, photos, videos, etc. with other iWrestle.com users. Additionally, the mobile app keeps track of all players statistics including wins, takedowns, reversals, nearfalls, pins, etc. within My Wrestler Profile of the app. 

THE GAME

Objective: Win the wrestling match by either outscoring your opponent or obtaining a fall - Just like any real folkstyle wrestling match!

How to Play: With your thumbs, "tap" back and forth on the screen as fast as possible to complete or defend moves. The faster you tap, the more you score. 3 periods of wrestling!

The social website will communicate directly with the mobile app and reflect all data and activity from the app to our servers and website. Users can visit iWrestle.com from any Internet browser to easily track their wrestler profile, photos, statistics, achievements, tournaments, and most importantly stay up to date with their wrestling friends and followers on My Social Mat.

• Wrestle against anyone throughout the world. Add friends, send quick game invites, and compete against random opponents. Build your own network and interact with the people you choose! 

• Wrestling characters and gameplay provides a realistic feel of a wrestling match. Important for former wrestlers, current wrestlers, and those who never got a chance to wrestle... an opportunity to continue competing off the mat!

• Wrestler Profile allows users to build their statistics (wins, pins, takedowns, reversals, escapes, nearfalls, etc.) for bragging rights. Add a personal photo, create a unique wrestler nickname, change your weight class or school affiliation, and much more! Something to work towards and share with others. 

• My Social Mat allows users to interact and discuss the sport of wrestling in one spot. Using the mobile app or Internet, post a status, add a photo, share a comment, and much more! Any content posted to My Social Mat can also be shared to Facebook and Twitter. 

iWrestle.com will have many features built in to both the game and website that will allow us to give back to the sport of wrestling both from a financial and charitable standpoint. 

FUNDRAISERS: iWrestle.com will hold administered tournaments for fundraising purposes. We will look to partner with colleges, high schools, and wrestling affiliated organizations to hold their very own personalized tournament that will be played out by using the iWrestle app and game. A predetermined monetary buy in will allow users to join the tournament and compete for a grand prize. A substantial portion of these proceeds will then be donated by iWrestle.com to the wrestling organization of the tournament!

CHARITIES: One of iWrestle.com's charities of choice is Pin Cancer. "The Pin Cancer Campaign is a call to action to help defeat the world's toughest opponent by rallying the greater US wrestling community in the fight against cancer." Please check out more at www.pincancer.org!

Why stop at the sport of wrestling? As mentioned above, there are many sports and activities out there that have a very dedicated and large following but little to no attention when it comes to games and social media (Field Hockey, Lacrosse, Volleyball, etc.). Our goal is to change this... Our vision is to use iWrestle.com as a platform to transform and give the participants and fans of these "not-so-popular" sports a place to communicate and interact with one another. This would include a mobile game and social media website comparable to the structure of iWrestle.com!

One thing about having a team made of former wrestlers is that we know at least TWO things:

1. How to work extremely hard and;
2. How to overcome obstacles

With that said, we have already spent well over 3200 hours building and developing the iWrestle.com game, website, and infrastructure. We have worked to define and refine the game and website technologies and have overcome many of the obstacles that were first identified as real challenges. We have contracted with some of the most stable technology and communication service providers in the world to ensure a solid backbone. Our reach is deep into the wrestling community and believe that we will find the support needed to succeed. 

This, of course, does not eliminate the potential challenges of launching.  The top three challenges as we see them are as follows:

1. Lack of funding due to lower than expect participation from potential backers. This may result in receiving less than the minimum required funding for a successful marketing campaign following our launch. 

2. An unforeseeable technology set-back. Although we believe we have identified and adjusted for technology glitches and have anticipated updates to operating systems, it is possible that new iOS or Android versions emerge prior to launch requiring additional programming. This set back would be short term and completely manageable.

3. Sudden heart attacks of the entire staff- unlikely as we are all pretty fit : )
