J's Rods will be a veteran owned and operated automotive repair facility that will specialize in high-end customization and restoration for classic car. This is the vision of a disabled ex-Army mechanic. Having worked for other repair facilities he has experienced a lack of understanding due to the disabilities aquired during military service. He's had a dream to own a shop and be able to help other veterans with disabilities in need of employment.
 

J's Rods and Customs will produce show quality restorations and customization for the general public but will produce vehicles for resale. In this facility we will have the ability provide mechanical repair,fabrication, body repair and custom paint for automotive and motorcycles

J’s Rods owner, Jose Figueroa, has been in the auto repair industry over 20 years and has achieved ASE master technician status as well as served as lead technician in various repair shops. Currently, Jose runs a successful mobile repair business. Indeed, many of Jose’s customers have encouraged him in this venture and expressed interest in having access to this type of business, run by someone they trust and respect.

J’s Rods will focus on the veteran community. I intend to provide an understanding place of employment for fellow veterans. As a disabled veteran myself, I know first hand that after service many veterans require or would benefit from flexible hours to receive treatment for combat related injuries and trauma. J’s Rods will offer a flexible environment where work gets done in a timely and professional manner, but not at the expense of the health and happiness of its’ people. 

In addition to providing a work place that understands the special needs of employees who are veterans, J’s Rods will also focus on providing goods and services specifically designed for military families. We will offer reasonable prices, from a reliable and trustworthy operator.

Finally, for over twenty years I have worked in many different auto shops with a variety of business models, I will use this experience to create a business that emphasizes excellence, creates camaraderie and develops loyalty with employees and clients alike.
