Industry:
Medical Devices/Healthcare

Market Size:
$36 Billion Annual Inhaler Industry

Target Customer:
People with frail fingers that use regular pressurized metered dose inhalers (pMDIs) to treat their respiratory disease conditions.

For individuals with frail fingers, the MDI-MadeEase® is a life-changing solution to the pains, and discomforts they suffer because of the frail conditions of their fingers when using their regular pressurized metered dose inhalers (pMDI).

The primary function of MDI-madeEase® is to make actuation of regular pressurized metered dose inhalers (pMDI) easier, and less painful, especially for people with frail fingers when they actuate their regular pressurized metered dose inhalers (pMDI) using their frail fingers.

Healthy people, both young, and old, using a regular pressurized metered dose inhalers (pMDI), requires certain level of strengths in their fingers in order to be able to actuate their inhalers. But for people with finger arthritis, hand tremors, or many others with some debilitating finger/hand diseases, they lack the ability to do so, and experience pains, and discomforts when they do so. MDI-MadeEase® brings a pain-free breath of fresh air for them!

We have progressed through all the phases of designing, testing, and prototyping for our device. It is currently in a contract manufacturing stage with a device manufacturing company for purposes of large-scale commercial production.

We have tested the usability of the prototype product and have found widespread success among individuals suffering from frail fingers.

In addition to this, the device has a registered trademark name with USPTO. It also has an active patent right filed with the USPTO with “patent pending status” It does have an “opinion letter” from a patent attorney, who is a former USPTO patent reviewer, that testified that the device is patentable.

MDI-madeEase® has attracted initial interest in both overseas markets of Africa (Nigeria, in particular) as well as the domestic US market within the US Veteran Administration Medical Centers, and the Department of Defense (DoD).

Both markets are willing to purchase and ready to buy the product to benefit their consumer populations that are using regular pressurized metered dose inhalers for the treatments of their respiratory diseases.

In addition to the MDI-MadeEase®, we have another simple medical device called Quick-GyneChek. A female vaginal infection screening device.
