Fast Facts

Kannatopia is a social network & marketplace that’s providing the cannabis industry with the all-encompassing digital community it’s been missing for so long. Unlike competing platforms, we’re doing all we can to eradicate the negative reputation associated with our industry by targeting the mainstream and medical segments of the market. Kannatopia’s rich feature set - which includes both user-friendly social features and exposure opportunities for brands - come together to help move cannabis in the right direction.

A Breakthrough on Hold

The once-taboo subject of cannabis is finally coming to a positive light in the US. The plant’s significant (and proven) medical benefits, coupled with its financial potential, has an increasing number of states pushing for both medical and recreational legalization.

But unfortunately, the estimated 90 million Americans that have used cannabis are still forced to deal with its stigma. Look no further than the digital realm, where cannabis consumers still have no substantial and legitimate platform where they can engage with like-minded peers.  A number of additional pain points are holding this back:

Your Cannabis Community

It’s time to elevate your cannabis experience with Kannatopia: a new 21+ social network where “cannabists” can connect, socialize and learn freely.  Our platform is moving the market forward by bringing all stakeholders together into one digital community.

The Kannatopia web app, along with our upcoming iOS/Android apps, give consumers the chance to connect & engage not just with like-minded people - but businesses too.

All of our platform’s users can now openly connect with like-minded people & brands, get recommendations, manage their cannabis experiences, stay informed and do so much more.  Kannatopia solves two major problems:

Inside Kannatopia

Kannatopia goes much deeper than our competitors’ novelty platforms by actually providing tangible benefit to the cannabis community.  Sure, it takes the shape of a social network at face value - but our platform also includes a marketplace coupled with a unique business model that creates value for both sides of the industry.  It’s powered by a robust set of user-friendly features, highlighted by these 5 core elements:

Our Journey So Far

At Kannatopia, we’ve amassed quite a bit of traction during our short time in business.  Here are a handful of achievements we’re most proud of:

As of October 2017, the Kannatopia alpha version, beta version, and most recently our market-ready web app have all been completed and launched.

Positive press from a variety of sources including PR Newswire, Direct Cannabis Network, Built In Chicago, ChicagoInno, and more.

We’re also currently a part of 1871, Chicago’s Center for Technology and Entrepreneurship, and currently the hottest Technology Incubator.

Our Path to Market

With this traction under our belts, it’s time to go full steam ahead with the execution of our go-to-market plan.  Organic growth will be key towards our efforts to remove the stigma associated with the industry - so we’ll rely heavily on working through businesses in the space to promote our brand.  This includes cannabis manufacturers, media partners, social influencers, and other affiliate businesses, many of whom will also reap the benefit of exposure on our platform.
