With the world having over a million motorcycles and recreational vehicles with handle-bars or tubed style frames, we created a solution to hold your belongings safely.  I have noticed there is a lot of times that I want to bring my leather jacket, (or other gear) and their is nothing on the market to buy that protects your possessions while you are away. 

I have a streetbike and I do not like the look of bulky saddle bags on
my motorcycle, so I either wear it and be hot or leave it at home and be cold at night. Some people might bungy strap it on there handle bars but are worried that if they leave it on there bike and go into a bar, restaurant , store, or gas station it might get stolen and leather jackets are not cheap.

I call this prototype LeatherLock but it can be used for other clothing, tents, sleeping or duffle bags etc.. or can be used to lockup your recreational vehicle

When I did more research I fabricated and CNC machined out of military grade aircraft aluminum into a stream-line bracket assembly that a person could put on their bike easily with 4 bolts and put their expensive leather jacket (or other gear) in a tight bundle on their handle-bars not blocking any line of sight of the driver and not interfering any movement of turning . The gear can also be secured (optional ) to these brackets with a short stainless steel plastic-coated cord that prevents it from being stolen even if they try to un-bolt the brackets.

This unique design when padlocked is resistant to being removed off the handle-bars even if they take the 4 bolts out of the bracket thus making the LEATHERLOCK NOT ONLY TO PROTECT YOUR GEAR BUT CAN ALSO PROTECT YOUR RECREATIONAL VEHICLE for example locking the cord around a bike rack while your away from your bicycle, a jetski around a dock, and a tree for your snowmobile, around a fence post for your A.T.V. or wrapping the cord around both wheels of your motorcycle when paying for gas or at a restaurant...this is a universal theft device not found in stores

Hi, my name is Jason Winters I am a tool and die/CNC programmer by trade. In my free time I am an Inventor. I like to create things that people may need, but have not created yet.  My passion is motorcycles. When I traveled to the Black Hills of South Dakota in 04 I had nowhere to put safely store my jacket when we stopped to site see. I personally don't like saddlebags on motorcycles because it takes away from the sleek slender profile of the bike.  A bungee strap may hold it in place, but you it could come up missing. Just then, I told myself when I get back to Iowa I was going to design a secure bracket system to protect my gear and look stylish at the same time. Soon after a few prototypes, a little R & D, patent/ trademarks, suddenly LeatherLock was born. Help us raise money to bring this product to market. Thanks!
